Bought this for my partner and he thinks it’s a brand new watch. It came in the packaged box like a new one and does everything a new I watch would. He loves it. And it was a fraction of the price too.

I bought it on Amazon prime day as renewed item and watch does not charge at all. It get heat up while charging. I had to return it.

My Apple Watch Series 5 was in excellent condition, with only 2 tiny very minor scratches, basically as good as new. The only downside is that the strap provided isn’t an original apple strap and is quite flimsy in comparison, so this may have to be changed in the future. But all in all very satisfied 👍🏽

I did a thorough read of the reviews here before purchasing so I knew it would be a gamble as to whether the item would be up to standard. So I wasn’t that surprised when there were a few issues. Battery: By far the biggest problem and the main reason for returning the item was the battery health. It was at a mere 73% capacity which, as many other reviews point out, isn’t allowed to be sold on Amazon as it falls below the 80% threshold. Condition: I paid a little over the odds for a refurbished “Excellent” watch and while the watch face itself was flawless, the body unfortunately had quite a few visible scuffs. It should really have been labeled as “good” (and about £50 Cheaper). Functionality: Being a bit of a geek about my health and fitness data I was disappointed to find that the watch wouldn’t connect to my Polar+ heart rate monitor. I could have forgiven this if the in built ECG worked, but it didn’t. It gave wildly sporadic readings putting a lot of bad data into my fitness read outs. Overall the item wasn’t up to the standard at all and I’ve sent it back for a refund.

It’s fast, responsive, and everything works perfectly. I’m a big Apple fan, so I had high hopes, and this purchase met my expectations. When you buy something refurbished on Amazon, it’s always a bit of a gamble—but this time, it paid off! Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a reliable refurbished Apple Watch.

For those complaining that it is not a "real" Apple Watch, it is very much one. Keep in mind that you are buying a refurbished watch, not brand new. This is why you will not receive it in its original box nor get a genuine wall charger, but the watch itself is very genuine. The watch synced flawlessly with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, there was no apparent physical damage, and even better, after checking the battery health, it was at 100%. So I basically got a brand new Apple Watch Series 5 for a fraction of the price! I am very satisfied with this purchase and will never buy a brand new Apple Watch again.
