"Pure vitamin C serum" likely uses L-ascorbic acid, the most potent but unstable form, while this vitamin C skin brightening serum uses a more stable derivative and a blend of brightening ingredients. Based on the listed ingredients and the way the skin feels post application this serum appears to be of a good quality.
