How well would it fit a huawei matebook x pro?

I had a razer blade stealth 13 and a pixelbook. Both fit really well so I doubt you'll have a problem.

How snug will it fit a Macbook Pro early 2015?

May be too snug. Fits the current Mac book pro perfectly which is substantially thinner

How are you able to rid the terrible smell?

It did not have a bad smell for me. Or maybe it just faded away and I didnt realize it.
