Brilliant Planner, Almost.
Let’s get one thing straight: this planner is excellent at what it does. Fixtures? Logged. Who's standing where? Check. Who’s bringing the half-time snacks? Sorted. It’s like the Swiss Army knife of grassroots football admin. But here’s the twist - he's brought it, and now I barely get to speak the man. The planner has become his new soulmate. They go everywhere together. He strokes its pages more lovingly than he’s ever touched my face. I asked him what he wanted for dinner and he said, “Depends if we’re home or away.” He used to call me “babe.” Now it’s “assistant coach.” Pros: Incredibly organised Makes your team look semi-professional Apparently more emotionally supportive than I am Cons: Has replaced me in the relationship Doesn’t do cuddles I’m now in a love triangle with a planner Honestly, if you want to run your grassroots team like a well-oiled machine and accidentally lose your partner to a stationery item, this is the planner for you. 10/10 for logistics. 0/10 for romance.

Great for tracking the season
I’ve bought three copies of this book now. Each one has seen a season through comfortably with a couple of tournaments. It’s perfect for tracking what’s going on in a game and managing my squat rotation when planning. The pitch diagram is ideal for drawing on to explain to the kids what I want to see them do. Having that visual aid is a huge help for some of them. Would recommend!

Grassroots Bible!!
Very useful!! I have recently started a grassroots team and this is great for capturing the data each week and then being able to refer back and use this for the kids through the season and keep at the end as a memento.
