Fantastic packaging and rose plant. Its established and healthy has 1 bud so I can see the purple. Over the moon with this plant. Definitely recommend purchasing.

Lovely rose, arrived all in pot as it should, not dried out,no damage to plant but box was bashed a bit.

Initially the jury was out. Plant arrived on time and fairly well packed; rose itself had damp paper round the stem both protecting it and keeping it moist. New growth stems were obvious when opening the parcel, so that’s good news. However, when transferring from the pot it came in, the root ball disintegrated, I assume it had only recently been put into that pot to dispatch it rather than having been grown in it for some time - that’s a little concerning. Initially I gave three stars, which I happily increased as the plant developed more root and substance - of course if it doesn’t I will be reducing the stars. Oddly there were no instructions with the plant, no hints or suggestions, which is fine if you’re an expert or experienced in growing roses …. but not everyone is, I certainly am not. UPDATE: the rose bush has settled very well, it has new shoots coming through hence the upgrade to four stars. Depending on if/when I get a flowering rose I will revisit my star rating. 17.06 - UPDATE: the rose bush has settled well and is growing strongly, no flowers yet as you’d expect, but the plant has numerous new shoots and is growing well. Very pleased with my purchase and happy to recommend. UpDATE: 26.06 - I have now purchased a second rose as I was pleased with the first. Plant was well wrapped, had a good root ball and two flowers, a bit past their best, which is ok as it’ll flower again this year. I’m now very happy to recommend this purchase.

Plant had all the roses cut off apart from one. This rose was pink, not purple. The sticker on the pot was pink, not purple.

Lovely rose very healthy. Arrived safely. But certainly not purple. I’ve waited a few buds to see if the colour does change because it’s a young plant but yeah the puds are coming out a lovely reddish pink colour every time. May take a couple of years to get to purple. But that does need to be put in the description if that’s the case. I do rate products from gardeners dream always buy from them good products fast delivery. Good quality. But just a shame bought the purple rose specifically for in memory for a special friend. Was his fave colour.

Grown into stunning roses, the colour is not as much purple, more dark pink. They have a beautiful fragrance too.
