What is the most important thing to do before installation？

Do NOT cut zip ties before installation. Gaps between door lock and frame are normal and will be resolved after installation.

Is it normal for there to be a gap between the door and the door itself?

Yes. Gaps between door lock and frame are normal and will be resolved after installation.

Can our baby gates be installed on stairs?

Yes. But we suggest that stairway installation must be hardware mounted.

What if I find that the baby gate I received does not fit into its intended area?

You will need to be sure to measure the opening before you purchase. Our baby gate fit openings from 29.5-48.8", You can adjust the width of the door with bolts or extensions.

Why doesn't the baby gate close properly?

It could be due to the lack of a 2mm gap between the latch and the door frame that should have been left during the installation process. This gap is necessary for the proper functioning of the door bar.
