BEWARE AND TAKE A INFORMED DECISION ON PURCHASING HAVELLS BLDC FANS Here are my objectives observations: 1) Fan works well - it is silent and effective But- 1) HORRIBLE after sales service 2) Fan stopped working suddenly 7 months after purchasing 3) Customer care is an experience in itself! They will read out the script provided to them endlessly without giving ANY useful information 4) My fan did not get repaired or even attended to despite a so called “urgent” complaint Havells said they had taken! 5) For a fan this expensive to have after sales service like described above is nothing short of cheating. Air flow even at low speed - Very good for a room of 140 sft Fan Noise level - very silent. Looks - very nice.

I bought Remotely operated fans. The key technical issue is it will not be possible to operate through regulator (as per traditional round button). So I highly recommend do not buy remotely operated fan unless you are having huge drawing room where switchboard is away. Fan quality is Good.

If there is a thunderstorm outside, it's advisable to turn off the fan for safety reasons. Also, it is not recommended to operate it through a fan regulator if you have a remote; in that case, it may not function properly. Rate is a bit on higher side.
