Hi:) some 9v batteries actually contain 6x lr16 cells and are a cheap way to source stylus aaaa batteries. has anyone looked inside these 9vs? thanks!

What is the mAh rating for these batteries?

Hi. Thank you for your question. We would advise that mAh is typically a performance measure for rechargeable batteries, and there is a standard methodology to determine that. However, this methodology does not exist for 9V alkaline batteries, such as our Plus range, nor any other primary (non-rechargeable) batteries. Instead, they are measured by a broad range of discharge rates at various cut-off voltages to deliver service hours and/or total energy. Those metrics give an idea of how long the battery will last in a broad range of situations, from a low-drain clock to a high-drain flashlight. In our Technical Library on www.duracell.com we have the product technical datasheet available for our 9v Plus battery showing various discharge curves.
