Bio Retinol Alternative Bakuchiol Serum - Smooths Fine Lines & Wrinkles

I was curious about bakuchiol so I started using this serum daily three months ago. Since then I have seen a noticeable improvement in smoothness and my skin tone looks more even. I wish I had a clear before photo to compare because the difference is that good. The texture feels light and it absorbs quickly. No greasiness at all. I did not get any irritation even though retinol can be too strong for my sensitive skin. Instead I have firm and hydrated skin that glows naturally. I also love the subtle berry scent which fades fast so it does not overwhelm. The ingredients list feels clean and organic with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to boost hydration and brighten. It is vegan and cruelty free and made in the USA which I appreciate. It stands out because so many alternatives feel harsh or cause peeling. My husband even commented that my skin looked more vibrant. Friends asked if I had changed something in my routine. That kind of response makes the product feel really worth it.

Absolutely LOVE this product!!!! I can not use retinol and this is much less irritating to my skin. It smells good, but fades. Nice base for moisturizing. Feels hydrating, and fresh. Giant wrinkles haven’t disappeared but fine lines do seem less around my eyes.

First of all, I had to cancel my subscription to this and start something else because of the applicator. The dropper is HORRIBLE. Even on my brand new bottles nothing came out. They used to have a pump and it was perfect. Why did you change it from the pump?? The new applicator is so frustrating that I needed to cancel and stop buying this mainly out of spite. Having said that, this product was amazing on my skin. It made my skin appear brighter and more youthful even in just one use. I truly miss this product. I will keep checking back to see if they’ve changed the top because I’ve read other reviews complaining about the same thing. I also love the scent of this, not sure why others think it smells like cigarettes.

This was gifted to me, so I apologize you won’t see the “purchase verified” but I wanted to share this for all those sensitive skin folks. I REALLY wanted to love this and I think I gave it a solid chance. So I initially started using it every night until about day 3, I noticed my skin having some sort of reaction (obv didn’t do a patch test, so that’s on me). I thought maybe I just needed to get through the purge stage, so I kept using it for a little over a week before my face was just too irritated to go on. So I thought maybe I introduced it too often right off the bat. I let my skin heal for about a week on some basic bland vanicream that I know works for my skin. Then after I felt adequately healed, I tried using this serum again, but every other night for a week. Unfortunately, my skin flared again (last picture). As you can see from the before picture, my skin wasn’t perfect but it was relatively clear and I was just looking for a natural anti-aging product. This serum really did a number on my skin for whatever reason and I’m now on the hunt for something to help with what it has caused.

This product smells so delicious, and more importantly, it works wonders on my skin. I am 41 years old and have had 6 children, so my skin could look pretty worked over, but I’ve taken great care of myself over the years and instead I look healthy and vibrant. I have not had injectables and was noticing some lines across my forehead that I did not fancy. I began using this and decided too ok take a break for a couple nights to see if it made any difference. I’m here to report that, YES, it made a big difference! My forehead lines began to show up again, so I promptly began using this serum again and voilà, back to smoothness on my skin. I love this stuff and highly recommend it! It works for aging skin too! Thanks, Beauty by Earth! On another note, our skin is our largest organ, so don’t put synthetic crap on it! The ingredients in this little bottle are quality, natural, and long-term safe. I rarely write reviews, but in this case I think I have to. I also hope this reaches the manufacturer so that they can send me a new one or that Amazon can buy only if it doesn’t have this terrible odor. I’ve purchased this at least 3 times in the past and it was one of my favorites. Smelled good great product for skin but this one is unusable because of the terrible odor. It literally smells like you’re putting cigarette smoke on your face. Don’t buy this!! I don’t know if it’s because it was expired, or came from a bad batch. All I know is I can’t use this and I’d like refund. I’d also like to find out if there’s another one (like the the ones I’ve gotten in the past which have a slight nice fragrance, but mostly none). At this point, I’m not sure I can trust a recommendation since this was a recommendation that I’d like to see some other products like this that don’t smell like cigarette smoke and I do want a refund for this. I’m hoping it was just a bad batch but if there’s any chance of getting a replacement which smells like this I don’t want it. The manufacturer should be made aware of this. The batch that this came from should be discarded, and I’d like to know if there is a newer one that wouldn’t have that problem or that one could be sent from me from a newer batch that won’t have this odor and or if it does, I can send it back, but I don’t wanna pay for it upfront And neither should anyone else who orders this. Do not order this until you, and/or I can get a definitive answer about what’s wrong with it and why it smells so terrible.

I normally don't take the time to write reviews, but this is definitely my new holy grail product. I have only been using this for a month and have seen enough improvement in my skin to know I'll be buying this again. My fine lines look SO much better, my skin is more moisturized (I do layer this underneath my moisturizer as well), and it has really evened out my skin tone. Improved my skin texture as well! I'm normally weary about buying skin care on amazon, but not a lot of products use bakuchiol or it's too low on the ingredient list with other products and I was looking for a good retinol alternative. My skin is way too sensitive when it comes to retinol no matter how slow I introduce it to my skin care routine. But this does not irritate or dry out my skin at all! If you're sensitive to retinol and have naturally dry skin, please try this!

LOVE this serum! I use it with their moisturizer and have seen great results. It leaves my skin feeling soft and refreshed. It's easy to apply and will last a long time (I have been using it daily for over 3 months and there is still plenty left in the bottle). I love that this contains natural ingredients without all of the harsh chemicals. Will definitely be ordering more for the future.

This is a great product for natural beauty care. It is an essential for sure!
