Long-term boot wearer. Sturdy boot, saved me $
I’ve been in a walking boot for almost 4 years now due to multiple surgeries that didn’t do the trick and a connective tissue disorder. I’ve gone through 8 boots in that time. They just aren’t made for long term use. My insurance won’t cover them anymore so I have to purchase them on my own. This is the exact boot my doctor recommended, but SOOOO much cheaper. It arrived quickly and is doing the trick so far. Once this one wears out, I will definitely re-purchase it here. It saved me about $200.

Comfortable, could use more foot support
Needed to purchase this when the Breg I was given was the wrong size and mu insurance wpuldn't cover a new one. This wss much lighter and easier to manuever in, but the inflatable support is insufficient in the foot. My injury was an avulsion fracture at the low end of the fibula and a lis-frank sprain across the top of my foot. Without the inflatable support in the foot it allowed too much movement which prolonged the healing process.

bad idea.
Had ankle surgery and needed to be in a fracture boot for 12 weeks! The liner of my original boot began to show real wear and tear (and smell). I washed the liner...bad idea...the velcro never returned to normal. not strong enough. Found this boot on Amazon (THANKS AMAZON),it is the same brand that they sent be home from the hospital in, except it did not have the air pump...also the one from the hospital was $30+ more than this one with the air chamber. I decided to try this one and I am glad I did. The boot is comfortable and the air chamber can be pumped up for a more secure, compression like feeling...my ankle liked that, or you can release the air for more room...it works really well!. There is nothing about having to wear these boots that is fun...comfort and ease of putting on and off is essential. This boot is super comfy and easy to wear. Heading to NYC in 2 weeks...will be 100% weight bearing...will report back and let you know how it holds up!

Comfortable
Stabilizes my foot and ankle really well. I have higher hopes in healing my shattered bones. My foot and leg fit comfortably in it. I kinda wish it was a 1/2 to 3/4 shorter at the tip. I wear a size 10 shoe, but the boot over hangs nearly 2” past my toes.

Good but glue comes off easily
Works for a day or two but glue comes off easily, and you can’t use it safely anymore

Good Quality
I'll start off by saying, had I received what the pictures show, I would've been happier. I received the older style of procare xceltrax. I would really like to try the newer style. That all being said, the one I received I found really comfortable, of the boots I've tried this one seems the most comfortable.

Good purchase
I have one of these already that I got from my Dr. But the size ways bothered me. Now I have the correct size, I don't look as doofy and ita easier to walk in.

Wasn’t for me
Footbed was way too large so was tripping me, even though I ordered correct size. The rubber sole was higher than the air cast brand which made my hips even more uneven. I did try 3 different shoe levelers to make it even but none were good quality. I ordered a pair of Hoka shoes to have height on my other foot. Plus the back of leg didn’t have protective plastic cover. It was just the cloth liner and since I broke the back of my ankle, that made me uncomfortable. Finally, the buttons to pump up the pressure are located on the front of the boot which does not work with a knee scooter.

The boot is overall nice. What is vaguely shown in the picture or description is that the entire back part of the boot is missing. There is no back shell to the boot and your leg itself is strapped in and held together by the side shells and the 360 straps. Not necessarily a bad thing as I am sure this provides the user with more mobility. Additionally, it allows people with various sizes of calves to use this product. It would have been nice, however, to know that there was no back to this boot. Still glad I purchased it.
