New Classic Furniture Gia 5-Piece Round Dining Set with 1 Dining Table and 4 Chairs, 47-Inch, Gray

I purchased the Ebony 5 Piece Round Dining Set. Not to confuse this with other reviews of the bar height table & chairs. I am extremely impressed with the quality of this set. It is classy looking, SOLID, well made, sturdy, easy to assemble, and is a definite value for the price! I was skeptical about buying a dining set from Amazon but this one did not disappoint. I am in my mid-50's and assembled the entire thing myself in about 2 hrs. The instructions were excellent and the whole process was very straightforward. Please note that they do not include any extra hardware, so make sure that you keep track of each nut/bolt/screw as you go. The most difficult part was carrying the top of the dining table inside the house by myself. I recommend lying it on a soft surface such as a blanket or carpet while assembling. Regarding other reviews about the chairs wobbling, I simply assembled the chair seat and legs by loosely tightening the screws/nuts/bolts by hand. Then I set the chair feet on the floor to level prior to tightening everything securely. The seat cushions were a tad more complicated as there aren't any predrilled holes for the screws. At first, as other stated, I thought that the screws were not long enough. However after I realized that they just didn't want to go through the pre-drilled holes in the frame, I just took my screwdriver and inserted it in the holes from the bottom and screwed the screwdriver for a bit in a grinding manner (with no screws in place) until the screws easily slid right through. Apply firm pressure to the seat cushion while screwing in the screws. After assembly, I did still notice a little wobble in a couple of the chairs, but when I moved them to a different part of my dining room, they did not wobble, therefore I suspect that my floor isn't perfectly level. I simply attached some cut-to-fit 3M felt glider pads (that I intended to use anyway to protect my floor) and that removed all of the tiny wobble that there previously was. Also, when applying the felt to the table feet, I noticed that the feet on the frame are actually adjustable as well! The feet are NOT adjustable on the chairs. The frame is nice Solid wood. The dark ebony color is not too dark. It's a gorgeous reddish/brown color (as can be best seen in the photo of the chair). For the price, this set is definitely a value. My last dining room set was a similar price but was not nearly as well made or attractive. The size is also perfect for my dining room area. I love the appearance of the shelf underneath and I feel that it makes the set even more sturdy, however I don't like that the chairs won't push in under the table all of the way. It also takes away some leg room when seated. However I was aware of this prior to purchase. I think the shelf gives it a little more personality and a more attractive appearance than if it were to just have 4 posts for legs. Also, the seats do not have a lot of padding, they are quite firm. However that does not detract from my ultimate satisfaction with this set. If looking for a dining set, I would definitely purchase again. UPDATE to previous review, I purchased a glass beveled edge table top for this set. For anyone considering doing this, purchase the 46" size, not 47". Due to the the scalloped edging of the table, the actual surface area is only 46". ALSO, note that the table top itself is not perfectly level! Now that I've added the glass top with rubber bumpers, I can see that only 4 of the rubber bumpers I placed (towards the center of the table) have "suctioned" to the glass and table. The bumpers do not touch the table around the edge. This means that the center of the table sits higher than the edges. I'm still going to leave my review at 5 stars simply because of the value for the money. It's still a gorgeous, sturdy set. I just am crossing my fingers the glass won't crack because of this. It's only a matter of millimeters.

I purchased this set on June 13, 2026. It stated 5-6 days to ship. I just received it finally 7/10/26. I am 64 and it took me about 4 hours to put the 4 chairs and table together. Do not use an electric/battery drill. Just use a screwdriver the bolts/screws will strip. It comes in one HUGE Box. Delivery was great & brought into my home. 2 of the seats have like a thread pulled/fabric bunched. one of the chairs the wood where you screw the 3 bolts into for the seat frame has several splits/cracks. I have not addressed with seller but will. Very nice table over all. Fits my space perfectly. Great style, love the color. Seats are comfortable and support your back good so your not slouching. Seat cushions could be a little more cushy as they are very firm. Hoping no issues in the future with the 1 chair breaking. I took pictures.

I highly recommend this set. The finish is excellent. Not a blemish on it. Very easy to put together. All the holes lined up and all the hardware was there. Very sturdy. I wish the top was water and heat proof.

Good Appearance,Material , space saving for small apartments . Easy to assemble . Easy to move and easy to clean .

Service has been just horrible, I cant even describe what we have been going through, but our table is standing on 3 legs , service has been terrible, don't know what else to do. No holes for4th leg, paint is chipped, etc etc. I love the table itself but if you need service forget about it and move on.

Quality and quality control are lacking. The countersinks for the provided screws were not deep enough, causing the table to rock on the tops of the screws. I had to drill the mating part a little so that the leg base would sit flush. The provided split washers are the wrong size for the screws, so the screw heads do not fit them properly. This might be an issue later on. One of the inserts for the screws was not installed properly, and it came out of the table leg, so I had to glue it in to make it stay. A wood screw was screwed in to the hole where one of the table leg bolts was supposed to go, damaging the threads, so I had to work that out. I would not recommend this table, and would not purchase again.
