Expensive, but fit the purpose. No assembly needed. perfect design, strong quality. Stable and nice color, but there are no drainage holes. That must enhance the stability. Nice and fat, works great! Worth every penny, for the job it does.

I bought this saucer to put water out for birds in my yard I feed! It is just what I wanted ! Very sturdy, can be picked up and washed. Holds lots of water but I ordered another one to put out if I have to be gone several days!

Although they were not what I was expecting, they are nice looking and well made. They were actually too big for the planters that I intended for them, they were a perfect fit for my big planters… they were just what I needed. Now when I water my plants water won’t run all over my entry way.

These are great, nice and big. I used mine for a little solar powered fountain I had laying around. I did set the fountain spray high, so lost much water to evaporation and the plants I set around it died from too much water, so, I made it into a rockery type fountain and the birds like the perches.

Update Jun 2022: still love it after two years. Had to replace first saucer when a big hailstone knocked out a chunk of the side wall. Birds finally discovered it and often drink. Also now use a few drops of pet-safe algaecide when replacing water. TL;DR: this saucer and fountain provide a cheap, entertaining, low-maintenance watering hole for local wildlife. I bought this plant saucer and solar fountain (Solar Fountain Pump, Teamyo 6 Spray Patterns Solar Powered Bird Bath Fountains) for use as a birdbath about three months ago. Although I have not seen any birds bathing in it, I've seen birds, squirrels, and rabbits drink from it. I'm fine with that; my real goal was to provide entertainment for my cat, Shadow. I suspect the birds don't use it as a bath because it's too close to the house and shrubs (where predators could lurk), or because I have it too deep. I bought the absolute cheapest saucer and fountain I could get. I wasn't sure whether I would handle the upkeep: I have a habit of starting projects, but much less of a habit for daily drudgery. However, it turns out that I do keep up with this, and I learned some things. I completely change the water every 2-3 days. It helps *tremendously* that the saucer is quite lightweight: I just dump the water on the nearest shrub, spray it out with a high pressure jet from the garden hose, put it down, and refill it. I might not be nearly so conscientious with a heavy ceramic saucer or bowl. I got the solar powered fountain for entertainment, and/or to prevent the growth of algae. It has several attachments, which allow the water to spray up prettily and quite high (12-24 inches), but also drain the water in just a couple of hours. With no attachments (as shown in photo) it still burbles around quite nicely, getting as high as 4-6 inches in bright midday sun. Every 2-3 weeks I open it up and rinse the inner chamber. Even in shadow or dusk/dawn light it burbles up an inch or so every couple of seconds. Whether due to aeration by the fountain, or regular water replacement, the water remains clear and clean. I consider this money well spent for the entertainment it provides my cat and me. Plus I get to feel righteously smug for helping local wildlife during a dry Oklahoma summer.

So much better than those thin bendable plastic saucers. It’s sturdy for my large heavy pot.
