I was surprised ! ... Great deal !
This review is for the Deba Knife. I wanted a small utility knife for the kitchen I bought the Debe. The knife cost under $15.00 I was surprised at the quality . Its not a expensive knife but for the money its a great deal . Its almost as good as my expensive german knives. I would highly recomend this knife .I think people get a little to critical in there reviews . For $15.00 its a great deal .Its stainless steel easy to clean . Its not an expensive hand made japanese knife ,But it works great ...I love it !

Great knife for fish
I bought this for fish cooking. Its sharpness is really good. Because my knife use was bad, easily I cut myself. It can be used to remove inside / outside of fish. Versatile use.

Excellent for the price!
We have the whole set of these but we could not find the Deba. These knives are fun to use. Lightweight and sharp. We do apply mineral oil to the handles often when new. This keeps them from splitting and staining. The only difference between these and the $75-$150 ones is the blade thickness. These have not rusted. We do run them on a hand steel often to hone them so they cut like butter.

Disappointing… bad quality in production process
Very disappointing…! I was so excited and waited for it to arrive, then the knife I received has a loose ring that supposed to hold the blade to its handle. Even though I glue it but it will come loose again as the ring is too big. Bad quality control.

Awesome value!
I was a little hesitant about this knife since it's so cheap but it is very well built and finished well. Feels great in the hand and good weight. Very nice blade geometry and is a true deba. Not quite as thick in the spine as the high end debas but you have to spend $200-$600 for one. This knife is my go to butcher knife now. Definitely worth the money.
