Product dimensions? Safe on painted wall?

I would not put it on a painted wall. I bought two packages and put one of the hooks on a painted part of a wall. That particular hook lasted approximately 3 days before it fell off the wall taking part of the wall and paint with it. All the other ones that I put up are on the back of a door and they needed a little convincing to stay where I put them (just hold it tightly to the surface for a few minutes to make sure it adheres). Those hooks have been in place for about 3 weeks now without an issue.

The back plate is 2" wide and 2.5 inches tall.

Can I reuse these ? if so where can I buy the adhesive separately ?

I doubt they can be reused. If you can pry them off you could probably use any sturdy glue or strong double stick tape. Easily found on Amazon or a local drug store.
