Village Candle Christmas Spice, Large Glass Apothecary Jar Scented Candle, 21.25 oz, Red

My favorite scent! Lasts from one year to the next. Doesn't smoke and the aroma stays consistent.

Had great luck w/other Village Candle scents, but the Christmas Spice smells terrible - like paraffin w/heavy chemical overtones. Per Amazon I contacted VC customer service, but they said they could not help me because I ordered from Amazon. I think I'll stick with Yankee Candle from now on - at least they have actual customer service. Do not buy this scent.

Smells great and clean burn. Will definitely buy again . The scent I bought was Christmas Spice and it smells wonderful! Clove and cinnamon the blend is so sweet

Large 2 wick candle arrived melted over the wicks. It was sealed in a box, so no one at Amazon would have known (I brought it in as it was delivered- and it is November). It was obviously stored somewhere hot.

Finally, a long burning candle that burns slowly without tunneling like the 4 Yankee Candles (single wick) I bought previously. Even with metal candle toppers, the Yankee Candles tunneled when lit.These Village Candles are very fragrant (more than YC) and they burn perfectly. 2 wicks does the trick!Will buy these again!

I had a very old but still effective Village Candle that was just getting down on wax and a little raggy looking. It was so effective that you could often just remove the lid and you could smell the aroma. So, I had no reason to doubt buying a new one. However, what a huge disappointment. Hardly any scent even when lit. I now see a lot of other 1 and 2 star reviews saying exactly the same thing. I am hoping this will be effective as a simple candle to burn to clear out the smell when we cook fish or lamb chops. I will be looking at other brands now and will read the reviews first.

I like this brand much better than Yankee. However, the scents are hit or miss. Christmas Spice smells like burnt paper. I actually thought something in my house was on fire. Eucalyptus smells wonderful. Vanilla is great for the bathroom. The candles burn well and slow.

I got this as a Christmas present a year ago & putting it out for this years Christmas! amazing scent and isn't too pungent & smells amazing! definitely should get for this years Christmas!
