Good value for money
Fantastic Value with Some Small Drawbacks โ Perfect for Casual Racing Fans! I was on the hunt for an affordable racing wheel compatible with my Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch, and the Subsonic Superdrive SV450 turned out to be an excellent choice! For a budget-friendly price, it brings a lot to the table and has really added to my gaming experience in ways I didnโt expect. Hereโs my breakdown: Pros: 1. Great Feel & Immersion: The SV450 may not have the advanced force feedback of pricier models, but it does a fantastic job creating an immersive experience. The vibration feedback is surprisingly effective and makes racing games feel far more engaging than a standard controller would. 2. Easy Setup Across Consoles: I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to get this up and running on both my Xbox and Switch. Itโs a plug-and-play device, so I didnโt have to waste time with complex settings. 3. Realistic Steering & Shifting: The wheel itself has a nice grip, and the paddle shifters have a solid, satisfying click. It definitely brings a sense of realism to games, and I love the responsiveness. Although itโs not built for professional-level sensitivity, itโs perfect for the casual to semi-serious racer. 4. Solid Pedals for the Price Point: The pedals, though basic, respond well and give just enough resistance to make braking and accelerating feel natural. Theyโre a bit light and sometimes slide on hard surfaces, but a non-slip mat fixed that quickly. 5. Affordable Entry-Level Option: If youโre not ready to splurge on high-end gear but still want a racing wheel that enhances gameplay, this one is hard to beat for the cost. Cons: 1. Limited Wheel Rotation: The SV450 has a 270-degree rotation instead of the full 900 degrees seen in premium models. For games that need precise control, like rally or sim racing, it takes some adjusting to get the right feel. Itโs not a deal-breaker for me, but hardcore racing fans may notice the limitation. 2. Pedals Lack Heaviness: The pedals, while functional, could definitely benefit from more weight or resistance. Theyโre not flimsy, but sometimes they can feel a little too light, especially if youโre accustomed to pedals with more realistic feedback. 3. Mounting Stability: The wheel clamps work, but if youโre the type who makes quick, sharp turns, you might notice a bit of movement. A more secure mounting option would have been great, though itโs not a huge problem unless youโre really pushing the wheel to its limits. Final Verdict: The Subsonic Superdrive SV450 is a great entry-level racing wheel for anyone looking to up their gaming experience without spending a fortune. While it has a few minor issuesโlike limited rotation and slightly lightweight pedalsโit still delivers a high level of enjoyment for casual racing fans. For the price, youโre getting a quality product with easy setup and cross-console compatibility. If youโre looking for ultra-realism or professional racing gear, you might want to consider a higher-end model, but for the average gamer or even intermediate racing enthusiast, the SV450 is an absolute winner. Itโs brought so much fun to my gaming sessions, and Iโd recommend it to anyone looking to add some excitement to their racing games.

Not for racing games
For the price it's actually pretty decent, However, If you plan on buying this for high intense racing games look elsewhere, The reason being the suction cups on the base of the steering wheel are nothing short of rubbish, The only thing I have found they actually stick to is glass and like most people I don't have a glass desk I have one made of wood, or MDF not really sure either way the suction cups do not stick to it, So if like most people you have a wooden desk and want this steering wheel for high intensity racing games where you will be taking corners quickly etc This is NOT the steering wheel for you, you need one that can be clamped to the desk. Which brings me to the next point this steering wheel does not come with clamps, nor is there any logical way to attach clamps to stop the steering wheel from moving while in use, If you have a glass desk then this wouldn't be a problem as I stuck the steering wheel to my glass coffee table and it held extremely well but on my computer desk it is completely useless. You may be wondering why at the start of this review I said " For the price it's pretty decent" the reason for that is because I do not intend to use it for high intensity racing games and only for euro truck simulator where you take corners at a much slower pace and I have found during use you can sort of pin it in place while making turns using it's own weight, It's not ideal but it works so for me and it serves it's intended purpose, However clamps would have been the logical option for this steering wheel and I don't really understand what the designers were thinking by not including that as standard, Maybe they had glass desks, who knows. The pedals work great and are really responsive they look cheap and tacky out of the box but they are actually quite good.

Itโs work and does not work in some stuff
This steering wheel and pedal set turns racing into pure fun. It reacts fast which makes every lap exciting. I have to unplug it then plug it back in before my pc notices it Some games need me to mess with settings so everything runs right. The setup needs a strong grip or it works itself loose. Still, I canโtstop using it.

Very Pleased
This is my first steering wheel. It was very easy to set up. Feels sturdy and well made. There are customizable buttons, 270/900 steering switchable in game. Its also possible to program maximum turning degree. Three sensitivity settings for steering. Works well with my 5 driving games, although Gran Turismo Sport needed the sticks to be inverted in the game settings. It does take a little whilie to get used to. Each game is slightly different as far as sensitivity goes. All in all I am very pleased with the experience using a steering wheel and pedals instead of a regular controller.

Connection faults caused me to buy a different wheel
Not a great product, doesnโt have the right Microsoft chip and so needs connecting through a controller now after 2 months of light use it will no longer connect to the Xbox.. so have purchased a more expensive wheel, false economy, just buy a wheel that has a built in Microsoft chip and save time hassle and effort.

Ok, but stops working occasionally.
Initially worked well. Plugged into computer and off you go. However, there have been 3 occasions where the wheel just stops working and we can't figure out why. It doesn't get used for a day or so and then works again. It's annoying that this can happen mid game. It's working and then it stops. I have tried reading the manual for trouble shooting, changing settings on the game - we haven't found a solution. If it worked all the time it would be a great budget wheel for a newbie or younger gamer.

Works well with Linux and steam, mechanically good.
The pedals seem a little flimsy but are alright. For the price it feels about right, was bought for a linux pc running ubuntu and it worked out of the box running with games on Steam. Haven't had any issues.
