Very good book for expanding your vocabulary and improving your grammar

Recommended for intermediate Spanish learners. Contains vocabulary and additional notes for bringing about clearer understanding of the spanish text.

Lo compré como un regalo para mi sobrina que está estudiando inglés. El producto es lo que se ofrece en la descripción, únicamente yo le añadiría ilustraciones para hacerlo más atractivo para los adolescentes. Además le quito una estrella porque la portada tenía un desperfecto en la parte de abajo

"Spanish Stories: A Dual-Language Book" edited by Angel Flores is an excellent introduction to the history of Spanish Stories. The book covers Spanish stories from medieval times to the present. It was a treat to read both the Spanish and the English texts. One can move from the English text to the Spanish text easily and improve one's Spanish immensely using this book. The selections from the history of Spanish literature are all fascinating. There are stories by Cervantes, Quiroga, and Borges in here. They along with all the other stories are a delight and a joy to read. It is wonderful to learn the works of Spanish authors that I did not know before.
