This worked so much better than I expected. I have used edible gold paint before but from now on will use this instead. It’s extremely easy to apply and a little goes a long way. I used it over royal icing that had dried as well as a cookie without icing. It took a few coats to go over the blue royal icing, (I suspect had the icing been white, it would have required less to show gold color). I would recommend applying on a cookie without icing. It adheres great and really looks like shimmering gold. I applied it dry using a new small soft paint brush. Don’t use paint brushes with the stiff nylon bristles bc you lose more product that way. Highly recommend and will definitely reorder, although I think this container will last me a very long time. One thing to note, some gold specks (like glitter) showed on the cookie area where I did not apply but hardly enough to really notice but may be important if you are decorating small details.

This is a vibrant gold luster dust that has great pigment. It's loose and a little goes a long way. It's easy to use without liquid, as a dust, but it could also be used as a paint. I used it on a cake topping and not one person, of many, including myself, thought it had any taste, which is great. It does make a little bit of a mess, as most dusts do, but it's easy to clean...came right out of my brush and left no residue. My gloves though! Lol The non-toxic and food safe mica makes this a great shiny luster for chocolate, fondant, gum paste, or other pastries. It's a great quality and value, so I would definitely buy again and look for other shades/colors.

I am a professional chef and have owned a catering and event planning company for almost 20 years and we use luster dusts to color chocolate decor, our bourbon balls, barks, cocktails, and more. Jelife’s luster dust works so much better than any we have ever used and is a fraction of the cost. Others take too many coats to even achieve a fraction of the color shown- not this one- a little goes a long way. We actually got some little spray bottles made for edible glitters and they work great with luster dust. We got the green, red, and white for Christmas to color chocolate crisp pearls and we could not be happier. We’re going to order more colors for other seasons and holidays. This is a great product at an unbelievable cost- highly recommend!

First things ate first..... I love this product!!!!!! Adds zero flavor to the chocolate. Does exactly what it says 100%. You must buy you must try for your self i have looked far and near 😉 and this is just the best its small but worth every penny that's for sure I really wanted the white However I was sent silver for some reason?????? And I have no idea whose fault this is but yes so that's why I gave a four star rating other then that it's a 100% heck yes. This product is amazing. I received silver instead of the white I really wanted the white it looks cool on pops However I was going to adventualy buy silver so it's ok I have an upcoming event that silver will come in handyyyyy i have pictures of the brown coudnt find the silver. I will post it in the brown review. I also made just a little hole 🕳 so I'd doesn't get all over the place. I also love the color brown and I purchased it to make a bronzer, for make up uses eyeliner, eyeshadow, for my eyebrows, I dipped some in my mascara. I put some In my hair, I put some in my 💋 lip gloss very versatile 😌 ✨️ ur welcome ladies 🚺 😉 😘 I hope you like them and find them as useful as I have do a swatch first to see if you are able to handle this product for all my uses I did and me and this product are soon compatible.... use at your own risk this is what I used it for and it was amazing and got many compliments ☺️ and also used for my chocolate molding and cake pops 🎉 🎊

I use it when making hard candy and apples as well as brigadeiro strawberries. The effect of this on my caramel is beautiful.
