Nice scent, slight chemical smell
The rose scent is light (not overly cloying or heavy)--because it's an inexpensive product there is a slight alcohol smell as well, but not enough to dissuade me from using it. For the cost it is a good daily scent.

Smells awful, like bad air freshener. I use the standard Yardley rose perfume and this smells nothing like it.

Strong going on, but relatively short-lived as eau de toilette usually is. Affordable. Love Yardley's English Rose, and my husband loves it too. Not heavy or powdery or sneeze-inducing. I can wear it in public and not suffocate everyone. 5 stars.
