This is a fantastic trim router. I have only used mains powered ones previously, so was a little dubious about its power and the weight with a battery. All fears unfounded - this is great, really great. I would not go back to a mains unit now. The Metabo is exactly the same as the Hikoki (Hitatchi) unit and it works perfectly well with the Hitatchi and Hikoki batteries (I have both older Hitatchi and newer Hikoki branded batteries and they are both fine). I bought the Metabo unit, simply because it was cheaper! :-) Great value, super quality

Works perfectly. Is basically the the same as the hitachi/hikoi version just with a different name. Even uses the same batteries. Very happy with the purchase

No complaints - a solid router

Exactly what I expected out of metabo. Easy to use and pretty good price point. Haven't used many other brands to compare it to but that's because I don't have to with metabo tools

Works with AU Hitachi batteries with no problem.

Another solid product from Metabo. Has great power and never lets me down. I own several name brand routers and this one is my go to for trim routing.
