Sturdy, comfortable, easy to use and store
I wanted a small, lightweight, foldable toilet for our aliner trailer, so that I don't need to go outside,at night, to use our bathroom/tent. Neither of us wanted to deal with emptying a cassette toilet and we didn't want to use up space storing it. I thought the price on this was pretty high, for such a simple looking thing but it was taller than others and has a 300 lb weight limit, which my husband needs. It had free returns, so I figured that it was at least worth looking at. We've camped with this 3times now and both agree that it's one of the best pieces of camping equipment we've bought. This thing is STURDY! It feels like you are sitting on a regular toilet and is easy to get down and up from. My husband loves it. Even HE isn't going outside at night, anymore. With the lid on(and,I recommend, removing the 'toilet' bag) you can easily use this as a portable, lightweight stool for sitting. When we are done with it, we easily sanitize it with a bleach wipe, fold it flat,, and store it under the bench seat, in our trailer. I didn't know anything about a 'bag ring. I just knew that designated camping toilet bags, with gelling compound in them, are very expensive. Instead of that, I bought 'Poo Powder' and 13 gallon Forceflex garbage bags, which are very strong. ( On subcribe and save, they are 13 cents each, right now.) With a little tugging, these bags stretch nicely over the frame and seat of the toilet and stay put. It doesn't bother us to sit on the plastic and keeps the toilet cleaner. These Forceflex bags can hold alot and do not break or leak. The Pooh Powder congeals everything well and we don't need to use alot of it. When we are done with a bag, we just tie it off and throw it in a dumpster. The toilet even fits under the table in our trailer, so its not in the way, when its up and we need to move around our little place. We also have one of those expensive PET toilets, for our outdoor bathroom tent. It folds down into a nice case, but its not easy to unfold or fold, it is lower to the ground, so harder to use for a couple of seniors, and just doesn't feel as sturdy. I'm ordering another one of these Blika toilets for our bathroom tent.

A total game changer!!
UPDATE 10/4/23: It has been just over 2 years since I bought this seat, and it just finally given out on me after constant use. It was worth every penny spent and more, and I will continue to say that it was the best purchase I have made for the truck as it has saved my behind more times than I can count. I 100% recommend this product, especially for my fellow drivers. The only things I would suggest to the manufacturer is to use bolts that have a higher strength rating (two of the bolts broke clean off) and to reinforce the “feet” some more at those tore right through the rubber grips and punctured the floor of my truck (had to get a rug to prevent further damage). Other than that; this was exactly what I needed, and I’m about to get me another one! Original review: I’m a truck driver, and this is a total game changer!! 1) I’m a big guy, so I’m always was afraid those buckets with the cheap plastic seats would break under me. This is not the case my friend! The seat itself is sturdy, but to be supported on fairly heavy duty metal made my heart sing! 2) It’s super light! You don’t feel like you’re having to lug around this heavy clunky mess; honestly my thermos weighs more than this! 3) it’s in a handy bag that can really be stored anywhere, so you can take it everywhere you go! Also set up can be done in a pinch! I never bought the recommended bags, but some 13 gallon leak free scented glad bags and kitty litter did just the trick, and it leaves my truck smelling fantastic! The first time I got to use this was when I was at a receiver. I’ve only had it in my possession for a few days, and the thought of using it in my truck was very awkward to say the least. Well life had other plans! I needed to use the the restroom, only to find that there was no toilet paper, no paper towels, not even soap for hand washing. Not only that; but previous drivers apparently can’t aim to save their lives, and got urine all over the toilet seat and floor. I asked the workers there if there was another restroom I could use, and they told me that drivers are only allowed to use the one that felt like you’re about to recreate a scene in SAW. All I could say was “NOPE”, and then scurried back to my truck as my bladder was knocking on the door. It only took me a few minutes to set it up (it was my first time using it after all), and then I got to open the floodgates! Sweet relief!! From that moment I realized the possibilities because of this product, as it has enabled me to no longer be tied down to a truck stop or rest area because of a working toilet; now I can stop anywhere! This means I can go farther and rack up more miles, so I can get more money in! If you’re a trucker, I definitely recommend this product!!

Does the job; wish the lid stayed on
I bought this as a folding toilet for my camper van. I typically use toilets in rest stops and port-a-potties but there have been a few times where nothing was available and this was very helpful! Like the morning in Zion when the line was 100 deep, having this was a godsend. I like that it collapses down pretty flat so its easy to store, which I prefer to those 5 gallon bucket versions. Its also very sturdy and feels solid so that is pretty comforting when your perched on it with your pants around your ankles. The removable plastic O ring snaps tightly into place and perfectly holds a bag. I use composting bags and then put them into a dumpster or trash can. My one complaint is the seat cover does not snap tightly onto the seat, and because of that it is constantly sliding off. I wish it snapped tightly onto the seat the same way the O-ring does, as then it could be used as a legitimate seat. Otherwise this does what its supposed to.

Making the best of a crappy situation, literally
My house is about 50 years old and was made with cast iron pipes. Some of you already know where this is going. The pipes are starting to degrade, and at several points in the past year, something has gotten stuck inside them, causing the toilets and showers to block up until we can get a plumber out to fix the situation. Enter the camp toilet, which saved our butts (again, literally) when we were otherwise unable to flush. It's extremely sturdy, and I'm a big fan of the way the bag is held in place by the top of the seat. It accommodated everyone from my five-year-old son to my wife and me. We didn't have any issues with it wobbling, and I also appreciated the pole on the back that holds a roll of toilet paper. And, of course, it collapses easily so you can move it around. If you do a lot of camping, or if you ever find yourself in a situation similar to ours, I highly recommend this camp toilet. For the price, I think it represents great value and great quality.

Sturdy and stable, but lightweight
I love this sturdy portable toilet because it's perfect for a sick family member to use bedside, along with a rectangular blue Rubbermaid recycling bin underneath. I love how it folds flat for storage and that it can support a lot of weight, but the product itself is lightweight. The seat is strong and doesn't bend at all. The toilet doesn't wobble either. Best portable toilet I've found! It comes with a seat ring in case someone wanted to attach a kitchen size bag on it. I'm glad that it has a seat cover that makes it double as a stool, and that it has a carrying bag, too. There's even a toilet paper holder that attaches to the chrome bar of the toilet. I'm very pleased with my purchase! Thank you to the seller!

Expensive, simple, but quality product
I purchased this for upcoming water-turnoff during re-piping. Afterwards it will go in the car for emergencies. It is an absolute snap to set up. A no-brainer, requiring no strength or effort, just unfold. Nothing to break or warp. Really solid. All-metal construction, except for seat which is some kind of hard plastic. No wobbling or tipping. I can't imaging it falling over in use. Your feet can tuck under, unlike box-type commodes. It is about 1/2 inch taller than my regular commode, so no squatting to use. Compared to my regular round seat, it is 1" shorter both in width and length, outside dimensions. Inside dimension of the opening is the same in width (8 1/2"), but the opening from front to back is actually longer...my regular seat opening is 8 1/2", but this one is 9 1/2". The width of the actual seat itself is more narrow. My regular seat is 3" wide, this one is closer to 2 1/2" wide. When they come out with the promised "ring" to which I can attach a bag (rather than using a bucket), this will be perfect. This will be my "evacuation" toilet (along with a pop-up tent)...something we've seen a lot of need for recently. 5 stars (with ring). Update: If you are looking for a bucket to place underneath, it can’t be more than 9” wide to fit between the bolts. Smaller capacity buckets get progressively shorter, which doesn’t seem ideal unless you’ve wrapped the bag over the seat (something I’d rather not have to do). We’ve discovered that rectangular wastepaper baskets are narrower and taller, and may be a viable option. Until that new ring is available, we’ve purchased a Rubbermaid 3 1/2 gallon recycling container (which we will line with a bag)….not perfect, but a temporary fix that is close enough to get us through the next emergency.

Very well made
We actually started out looking for something cheap and easy to store in case the "littles" needed to go potty while we were in the pool. (It takes a minute to get out, dry off, and run to the bathroom) Then we decided to look for something a little nicer and got a pop up tent as well in case anyone wanted to change or use it for camping. A lot of the portable toilets had bad reviews for sturdiness, or you had to sit on the plastic bag, or empty a tank (eww). This one is very sturdy, the bag goes over a ring that snaps into place and holds it. Bonus, it folds flat, has a carrying bag, and even a snap on toilet paper roll holder if you want it. This is not cheap and flimsy by any means. Very nice quality. I would recommend it!

Excelente
