Love them perfectly sized handles and measurements don’t wear off!

I have had a set of these for more than five years and they look like new. I bought these as a gift for my daughter who has long admired mine. (Really, I was afraid she'd steal mine if I didn't give her a set of her own.) They are stamped from one piece of stainless steel, so there is nothing to break apart. Mine have never bent or scratched and they look like new after lots of use and many trips through the dishwasher. I replaced the link chain with a 1 inch stainless key ring that keeps the spoons together, but makes it really easy to use any one of them. The long handles make it easy to scoop out ingredients, the edges are very straight, so leveling them with a knife (or one of the other perfectly straight handles) is very easy. When I've been visiting someone and working in their kitchen, I have found that I really hate using their flimsy plastic or light-weight aluminum measuring spoons (Whoah - snob alert, huh?). These things have really spoiled me.

This brand of measuring spoons is the nicest I have ever seen. I ordered other sets with unusual measurements that are hard to find. All of the sets I bought are heavy, sturdy, shiny stainless steel, look great, and match each other except for the specific size. I now have 11 round measuring spoons in different sizes. Additionally, I received a measuring spoon set that also matches for use in spice bottles or boxes. These measuring spoons are so substantial it would seem they could be used for generations. I have already run them through the dishwasher and stacked them nicely in the kitchen drawer. They take less room in the drawer than I would have guessed. I have no way of calibrating them to see if the size is on the mark, but they seem excellent. This has vastly surpassed my expectations and I would heartily recommend this very attractive product.

I really like these measuring spoons. I've usually had plastic before and no matter what they've promised the numbers eventually come off in the dishwasher. These are easy to level off with a knife, the handle and top of bowl are level with each other. The handles are a nice length. They feel good in your hand. I wouldn't want anything heavier. I'll probably unlink mine, I always do, but the chain looks very sturdy and is even shinier than the spoons. I think these are my final set of measuring spoons. My granddaughter will have these some day. For now she can play with the old plastic ones.

These spoons are great! They are accurate, easy to level off, and have just the right amount of heft (not too heavy or light). Just throw out the chain hooking them together and store the spoons separated in a small box in your drawer. These spoons are mirror polished 18/8 stainless steel. The narrow handle makes them very nice to fit into a duel opening spice cap. I also really like the rounded shape. All of the spoons, even the tablespoon, fit great into a 6 oz paragon glass jar with a 53 mm lid (google it, they are available for purchase also Pioneer woman has some expensive jars that fit too). Too many people have tiny spice jar openings like spice islands and McCormick’s glass bottles and they are such a pain to deal with. I even found a set that fit into these tiny spice jars, but the heads become so wonky that scooping out the spices is a major pain. Pros: -mirror polished -pretty well balanced -super accurate -heavy duty/never bending -narrow handles for easier scooping in spice jars Cons: -NO HALF TABLESPOON! What the heck is that about? You can’t even buy it a la carte like their other spoons. -1/2 Tablespoon is ONLY available in the “odd” set that contains a useless 2/3 teaspoon and another 1/8 teaspoon. What am I supposed to do with another 1/8 teaspoon? -no 3/4 teaspoon size available at all with a rounded head (but they have it for their retangle head spoons). -it would be nice if the handles were just as comfortable as CIA’s measuring spoon handles. But this set is at least accurate while CIA’s is way off. The handles on these are only slightly less comfortable than CIA’s. All together there are some very strange decisions made by the measuring spoon design team. I hope they decide to fix it someday. It makes no sense to me whatsoever.

These have a good weighty feel to them; they are sturdy and will not bend. I chose this set particularly because I wanted the 5 sizes included: 1/8 teaspoon, 1/4 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, 1 teaspoon, and 1 tablespoon. Each spoon is made of one solid piece, and the measurement is engraved on the handle. I have used measuring spoons of different shapes in the past, but my favorite shape is perfectly round, as these are. The round shape makes it easy to scoop herbs and spices. I am very pleased with this set. The package says they are dishwasher safe, but I hand-wash mine to keep them ready for use, since I cook a lot and these are now my only measuring spoons.
