Will this fit a men's size 4 shoe. Am a woman and would love this for my ZH2 ?

Yes, it works from 3 1/2 to 8 for men.

Can these fit a size 12 shoe since they only go on the front and srap around the back?

it will likely fit. I would imagine that the worst case scenario is that you may have to add a little extra velcro to add length.
