Its not wire or elastic, it came with 2 reels of stretchy plastic string I'd describe it as, she reccomends to tie 3 knots to be sure of a good secure finish to your creation. She said she got a reel of black and a reel of clear with this set 🙂

How do you attach clasp and jump ring to the elastic?
