Women's German Dirndl Beer Dress 3 Pieces Costumes for Bavarian Oktoberfest Carnival Festival

I ordered a few different drindles from various companies on amazon, for Octoberfest in my home town. I was looking forward to this 'Glory Star' red and pink polkadot babe one the most and it did not dissapoint! I will be returning the others. This dress is good quality, breathable cotton. It is not a cheap costume. It arrived on time and as promised there were three pieces; blouse, drindle and appron. The ribbon for laceing up the front is included. In the picture, I am wearing a ribbon I had lying around the house. I will save the pretty red ribbon they provided for Octoberfest. This dress is beautiful! It looks just like the one on the model. I love the details like the traditional front zip closure, the frills around the neckline, the pretty metal clasps and the piping on the back. So girly! I felt this was really good value for the money and worth every penny! It fit true to the size chart. I am a 44inch bust, 38 inch waist. I am 5ft 10inches tall and over 200lbs. I ordered the 2xl and it fit great. Good length, falls just above the knee. Very comfortable. I was suprised the blouse fit well, I wear a 34K bra(not a typo, just big ol jugs). The blouse has a draw string so you can adjust the amount of cleavage you want to show. And it's a sleevless design so there is no tight arm elastic, which seems to be a common compliant for drindle blouses with sleeves. I definetley reccomend going with your measurements. I may have my dress taken in a tiny bit by a taylor just to get that perfect fit but it is'nt necessary. If you are inbetween sizes I reccomend a size up and get it altered rather than a size down and possibly end up with a too small dress. Oh and it has one pocket!!! Hallelujha! I would definetley order from this company again. I will likley post a pic after the event so you can see it all fresh pressed in it's full glory. Proust!

Fantastic Dirndl. Doesn’t feel too costume-like. I wore it In Stuttgart and people loved it. Very easy to put on and you get quite a bit for the price.

I'm about 5'9, 204lbs with broad shoulders and hips, but my waist is 11 inches smaller than my bust and hip measurement, so I'm curvy; and I have largish arms. The white shirt fit nicely, though a little snug on my arms where the elastic is, but not terribly so. The dress fit as expected- meaning I read the measurements in the description and knew the waist would be a bit big, which I may be able to take in a bit at the side seams, maybe. The bodice zipped up fairly easily, which almost made me wonder if I should have gone for the next size down (XL) to get a more snug fit. However, my shoulders are so broad that if I had, the back and shoulder area would have looked funny and probably would have been uncomfortable, so I'm glad I didn't. The bodice is very well and sturdily constructed. The skirt part of the dress feels like it needs a slip or lining, so I'll need to wear something underneath. The length was great- it came right to my knees! I was worried that with my height and high waist, this dirndl would be ridiculously short, but it's just right. I'm kind of wishing I'd gotten one of those bra booster contraptions to go with this so that the ladies would get a boost up, but alas, I did not. I'm planning to wear this to a themed (It's a Small World After All) waltz and vintage dance weekend for the evening dance, as well as for halloween. I also bought one of those fake braids to wear as a headband to help complete the look. Overall, for the price of the ensemble ($49.95), it was definitely worth it. I expect I'll be able to get more uses out of it for qute a while.

I ordered this and a few other colors (orange/black & pink/gray) not really expecting much but they were all AMAZING! Definitely not “costume” quality. It’s like an actual dress. For $50 it looks like I spent easily $150 on a quality dirndl! I liked my figure in the gray the best but honestly they all looked good. I’m in between sizes & the L fit but was a little more snug than XL but XL isn’t baggy or looks too big. It just feels not as snug. So if you like your clothes a little looser- or are in between sizes order one size up. We’ve all ordered these clothes from Amazon where you get a garment and it looks like somebody put it together in the dark in 20 minutes, with cheapest materials they could find- but this is definitely not thst. I’m super picky & I have no faults with this. The blouse can be cinched too but it’s large enough for your bust to fit- comfortably. If you need a fun Oktoberfest or Halloween costume spend an extra 20 bucks and get an actual quality garment but it’s also not so expensive if someone spills beer on it you don’t have hundreds of dollars invested. You won’t regret it! So happy with this! I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Thank you for making a quality dress that is affordable, & classy looking too!

Includes an apron (perfect for hiding snack stains); makes you look like you own a cow named Helga. I now have an uncontrollable urge to carry six glass steins at once and slap-dance to an accordion. Listen, I bought this for a costume party, but I think it came with some sort of ancient Alpine enchantment. The second I zipped this up, my kitchen turned into a beer hall. I don’t even like pretzels that much, but suddenly I’m judging the "crumb structure" of my sourdough and looking for a mountain to yodel at. It fits great, though the bodice is tighter than my budget after a trip to the craft store. It provides that "historical lift" that says, "I have never seen a sports bra, but I have a lot of opinions about grain purity laws". I wore this to a casual Friday at the office just to see what would happen. By 10:00 AM, the HR manager was asking me for a bratwurst and I had accidentally organized a town-wide festival. People don’t just "see" you in this dress; they expect you to know exactly where the nearest polka band is hiding. I do recommend.

None of these work. Beautiful stitching but I have tried on numerous different models of these dresses in different sizes and none of them fit. I am 5'9, 160 lb, and I have post-menopausal 40-33-40" bust-waist-hip measurements. The XLs were too big around all my measurements. The L wouldn't zip over my bust no matter how high I pushed my girls. One of the dresses was missing the corset laces. In the black and green dress, the skirt was see through and it did not include the white underblouse as shown. I give up. I have tried numerous companies on Amazon but I would have to have a custom drindl made for my body, or just wear something else for Okroberfest.

I am so annoyed and disappointed! This product had good reviews, and even though it was priced quite a bit more than similar items, I bought it, with the assurance that I would be buying a quality product. HOWEVER, when I open the neatly folded dress, imagine my surprise when a huge brown stain was visible on the front of the dress! It would be another matter, if I could hide it with the included apron, but clearly, I’m not going to wear it to the party we have tonight! So, now, after working today, I am going to have to scramble for an alternative, which is VERY frustrating to say the least! Not only is there the ridiculous brown circle, but there is also some of the stain on the front of the skirt portion and what looks like flecks of dried toothpaste on another portion of the bottom of the dress. The craftsmanship is okay. It will pass for a costume, but I wouldn’t say they put a lot of effort in to making it look polished like you see on the pictures. I ordered a large, because my busts are 34 F, 155 lbs, 5’ 7”, but they were definitely “out there”, nothing a little cami couldn’t hide! I can’t believe that if this was a return, this costume wouldn’t have been put immediately in the trash! There is ZERO excuse for this lack of concern for their customer. My husband and I own several businesses, and I wouldn’t dare treat paying customers with such disregard. Now, they are forcing me to not only go out of my way, and spend my time to return this piece of garbage, but I will also have to fight the crowds, which is exactly the thing I did NOT want to do (hence the convenience of ordering from Amazon), and spend hours scouring what’s left over for something to wear at this party I’ve been excited about for weeks! If you decide that you can’t live without this little getup, buyer beware that you may be left high and dry, because this company clearly doesn’t have the standards in place that are necessary to provide a good product to their customers! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I’m German, born and raised in Bavaria, and moved to the US 10 years ago - but every year I travel back home for Oktoberfest or similar beer festivals, where tradition says you must show up in a Dirndl. On top of that, working for a German company in the US means I end up wearing a Dirndl a couple of times a year for work events too. That’s why I was on the hunt for an affordable, comfortable, lightweight, but still authentic-looking Dirndl I could find right here in the US. And here it is — exactly what I needed! I love the color, I now own it in multiple colors, it packs perfectly into my carry-on for Europe trips, and the best part is… even my Bavarian friends and family think it’s original. I get so many compliments every time I wear it. I used the size guide and it fits perfectly. One small personal tweak: I swapped the blouse for one with more arm coverage (also from Amazon), but the dress itself is wonderful. Highly recommend if you want the real Dirndl look without breaking the bank!

Great outfit good quality looks very elegant

As a German I can say the quality for the price is decent. Not comparable to the ones you would get in Germany but good. Fit with size S was just right in my case. It looked exactly like the picture and I’m pretty happy with the purchase. Only criticism is on the delivery time - it came more than one week after the promised date despite being a prime customer which was really disappointing- hence only 4 stars.
