Spectacular Art Deco Ceiling Tiles
These stunning art deco ceiling tiles were exactly what was needed for the 1920s art deco speakeasy basement I designed for a client. They're lightweight and easy to install, but be sure to get the Power Grab Heavy Duty Instant Grab 9 oz. Latex Construction Adhesive White Cartridge, otherwise it's impossible. I had to read other reviews to get this tip because it's not in the instructions on Amazon or in the package.

Looks great
These are great tiles. Lightweight, easy to work with. Makes a dramatic difference and classes up a space. I cut them with scissors and a utility knife. The glue I used is pictured, it is fantastic glue for this. It grabs instantly, no need to hold the tile in place at all.

Beautiful ceiling tiles
I used mine as drop ceiling tiles. Very easy to put up, and the electrician had no issues cutting holes for the lights. Around the boarder there is a slight gap because of the 3D design(second picture, please don't judge original paint job I will be paininting over it) It's probably more noticeable to me as the installer than to people I'll have over. The only door in that area is for a storage room which doesn't get used often. But as some people have said, because of how lightweight these are, they do tend to lift a bit when that door is used but not to the point I need to readjust. I imagine if you used them as drop ceilings by a main outside door it might shift them out of place on windy days, and if you adheared it directly to a ceiling it probably wouldn't be an issue at at. Overall I'm very happy with them and would use these again for other room renovations.

Ease of cutting
I'm just getting started on these tiles but I'm giving them 5 stars simply because they look beautiful and are of good quality. I sent this picture to let people know that the best way so far to cut these is with curved shaped pruning shears. I wouldn't even think of trying scissors! I'm next going to try a Dremel tool. But these shears do an adequate job. I am now updating my review simply because I have started putting them up. I tried loctite ultimate only to have the fall down. But after a little researching I have found loctite all purpose intsta grab and am backing it up with some Roberts 8200 Quick bond spray adhesive and this seems to work great.

Looks great!!
We turned a spare bedroom into a closet/man cave and these really made it look high end. My husband works in construction, so install was pretty easy for him, but I'm pretty sure I could have done it myself. You can use a box cutter on these. We used the specific adhesive someone mentioned in another review, but I think most construction adhesives would work. We did crown molding, and we were worried we'd have to fill in the gaps, but we did not. Also, the electrician was terrified to drill the holes for the ceiling lights, but the round drill bit went right through without an issue. There were tiny gaps, so being a perfectionist, I used regular black paint to fill them. Every compliments them, and most people assume they are metal. Also, they are nearly weightless, so I'm not worried about them falling. Would recommend.

Two thumbs up!
I just love the look of these panels ! They are a thin plastic material that is easy to secure on the wall with double sided tape , easy to cut , but the cut will not be as straight, do to the pattern but will be fine, , easy to wipe off and very elegant look

WOW factor, good value
Very cool, getting many compliments. Used in small art-deco style BA. Easy to work with, to a point. Not easy to cut. Took a lot of time to cut out a bath fan opening. I would say it's fairly durable, but it hasn't taken a punch yet from a renter. We'll see how it holds up. Based on the wow factor and my experience so far, it's worth the money.
