I was looking for an intermediate scale between 1/32 and 1/48 to go with my 1/32 WW2 figures and 1/38 scale vehicles and this worked perfectly. The wingspan measures exactly 10 inches so this puts the scale right at 1/39. It was easy to assemble even for an old 66 year old like me, not having built a model in over 40 years. Took me maybe 30 minutes? I definitely needed the instructions though. I think this model could have been made with fewer pieces. Once together I noticed the wing assembly was not that solid so I glued the smaller pieces that make up the wings. I also glued the little red knob to the propeller to keep the propeller from popping off once assembled. Once I applied the decals I then sprayed a few coats of Krylon clear coat to permanently adhere the decals. Will definitely get the P51 and Spitfire models.

Since this wasn’t LEGO I expected some off brand craft but everything was easy and went together fine. GREAT VALUE. Sleek and quite scale. I will be buying more from airfix.

These model aeroplanes are amazing. No fiddly bits, no glue or paint. They are almost LEGO like but different. My 5 year old loves them.

I bought this for my 8-yr-old grandson. He does a lot of legos so this seemed like a good choice to get him into historical model airplanes. It took him a little less than an hour. He didn't like the instructions probably because they were not "just like lego." It's a good kit. My only compliant is that the base stem broke rather easily after I took the picture so a proper display isn't possible.

Son put it together all by himself and he loves it. It's not perfect, the fit could be slightly better, but it looks excellent and when he drops it he can just put it back together.

I absolutely love the idea of the quick build philosophy and it is ideal to young modelers to get into the game. Airfix’s Quickbuild models are of a very high standard and the blocks and parts all fit lovely together to make a seamless representation of an old classics or a new modern age plane. Unfortunately with this kit there were two parts that were the same and subsequently one missing part, which really spoiled the model as the missing part is located right behind the windscreen and can be easily spotted. It is the only reason stopping me from giving the kit 5 stars.

Mon fils a adoré la construire et l'exposer! Il a 9 ans et, hyperactif, gère difficilement les tâches minutieuses et nécessitant de la concentration. C'est pourquoi je mèle utile et agréable en lui proposant la construction relativement facile de modèles réduits. En cela, les "Quick build" sont parfaits. Seul souci, il y a peu de modèles proposés et nous touchons à la fin de la gamme!

レゴ状のパーツをはめていくと、20分くらいで48分の１くらいの大きさのBf-109が完成します。主翼の部分のスプリット迷彩の色分けが別パーツにすることで再現できているなど、よく考えられた設計で組み立てがかなり楽しいです。デカールは水転写のものではなくステッカータイプのものです。 一つ残念な点は、増槽を付けると飾り台に機体を差せなくなることです。 プラモデル的な楽しみを期待するとちょっと違うと思いますが、私はかなり気に入りました。ラプターとか他のものも欲しくなりました。
