I will be frank with you, I had no clue about Hormone Replacement Therapy. I didn't know anything about it. But then I had read an article about it online and wanted to know more about it.I found this book on Amazon and immediately started reading it.What I really liked about this book was that it laid out facts about Hormone Replacement therapy but did not over complicate things. I felt it gave me just enough information so that in case I needed Hormone Replacement sometime in the future, I knew the process i was getting into.I am glad I caught this book. It gave me facts about hormone therapy during menopause which is something every woman should know about, regardless of whether they opt for the therapy or not.

Hated this. I guess it's my own fault but I had done a search for "transgender" and this was one of the top recommended results. This book doesn't even mention HRT use for transitioning FtM AT ALL. Literally, it doesn't even pose the idea until the back flap and there's one sentence mentioning use in the close. I guess I should've read the description better. I guess I could try to sell it on Craigslist. :-\

This has a lot of history for the medication and it's purpose and how it has evolved over the years. Definitely gives me things to discuss with my doctor.

My mom started to exhibit all the signs and symptoms of Menopause. Our doctor suggested that she consider starting Hormone Replacement Therapy. My mother was a bit apprehensive about it and preferred to get more information on the treatment. After reading quite a few books we came across this one. It was so informative and it allowed my mother to give a valid perspective on what she would be taking on if she were to choose to make the decision to get HRT.Hormone Replacement Therapy: The Truth About HRT allowed my mother to weigh the pros and cons. I made the informed decision to start the treatment. Having read the book myself I am totally in support of my mom's decision. Thank you so much for keeping us informed.

A short pamphlet, really, not a book! And even at that it was so limited in usable information that it might be educational only for those that know absolutely nothing about hormone replacement therapy.

Very updated, everything a woman must know about HRT in a nutshell!
