It does what it says and does it well.

As a motor vehicle technician diagnostics is a big part of my job , this diagnostic test probe was a great addition.

I did the update from their site and you are left with the proverbial brick. But I searched hi and low and found the update file. Why the" manufacturer " hasn't got the correct file? Who knows. Dont update. If you get stuck I might be able to find it for you.

Decent quality and measure accurately against my other meters.

Bought one of these to help me rewire a classic mini pick up. It worked ok for a while but then started tripping out on over current for everything I was trying to test. I upped the current to the max but it still kept tripping out, even on small currents around 2A. I found a firmware update on the topdiag website and after some messing around it uploaded to the device and now it won't work at all. So,. pretty useless to be honest, what started out as a promising tool ended up useless. I would therefore not recommend the purchase of this tool.

This is a great piece of kit for diagnosing electrical problems and testing sensors, it has a feature to download software for updates but my PC doesn't recognise it when I plug in the USB cable. Tried contacting the maker but the e-mails keep bouncing back, I'll ty again early January and hopefully resolve this small issue.

This tool is rubbish, frequently misleading info, I'm an Auto Electrician of 45 years and this is a poor example of this type of tool

This thing is as good as a power probe, and does significantly more functions than one. Closest thing to a power probe maestro that I could find, and it didn’t let me down!

I am A motorcycle mechanic. Bought this in hopes it would cover all my s of an expensive power prob. This power prob works out of this world. It an extremely easy to use and operate. Its functionality is extremely reliable and clean signal reading. I recommend this for any type of mechanical work you are doing.

wiring not my strong suit al all normally lots of head scratching bowls of spaghetti mess what my wiring ends up like but with this tool you can make sense of the biggest of bowls. anything electrical this thing has a answer or setting to process or program for helping you untangle your or someones else's mess. good for finding dead parts with out the needless random part replacing stuff tell one something finally fixes it hundreds thousands $$ on down the road changing out perfectly good grade AAA parts for what ever you call the ones on your local bargen box parts store shelves needlessly. easy intuitive menus i didn't even need to you tube anything but i would bet if not already there will be some great learning content with one of these great tools. electrical isn't voodoo anymore now it is easy and !!!! are you kidding me 130$$$ (i thought too, way way to good to be true!) i have 0 to say bad about it and for me that is unheard of UN heard of. if i had to come up with something gun to my head or something little cheap feeling but no one is harder on tools then my i am the raining champion i am undefeted champ and i havent been able to brake it yet i will report back the day i do to give yall a update if it is just feels a little cheap or if it is becuse avrage 3 times a week 6 or of the seven last couple week so a fair bit have had it for a month now today it 6 18 22 ill let you guys know how long she lasts. are there any guesses out there?

For a mechanic that has to deal with electrical problems i would recommend this probe, it makes job easier and easy to read. Highly recommend it
