I have been using this BB cream mainly as a quick everyday base when I want something lighter than foundation but still want a bit of evening out in skin tone. The texture is quite smooth and slightly fluid, so it spreads easily across the skin without dragging. It blends in quickly with fingers or a sponge and does not feel heavy once it is on. It sits somewhere between a moisturiser and a light foundation, which makes it easy to apply even when I am in a rush. On the skin, the finish is quite natural with a slight mattifying effect, which helps reduce shine without making the skin look flat. It evens out redness and minor uneven tones reasonably well, but it is definitely a light coverage product rather than something that will fully hide blemishes or stronger imperfections. I noticed it works best when my skin is already in fairly good condition. It gives a more polished version of my natural skin rather than masking it completely. For days when my skin is more uneven, I still need a bit of concealer on top to target specific areas. Wear time is decent for a BB cream. It holds up well through a normal day, although I do notice a bit of shine coming through in warmer conditions or after several hours, so a quick touch up or powder helps if I want it to stay more matte. From a comfort point of view, it feels lightweight and breathable. It does not sit heavily in pores or fine lines, and I do not get that “makeup mask” feeling that some foundations can give. From a value for money perspective, it is a good everyday option. It replaces both moisturiser and base makeup for simple days, so I find myself using less product overall. Compared to higher end tinted moisturisers, it is less refined in finish and shade range, but for regular daily use it feels like a practical and affordable option that does the job well enough. Overall, it is a simple, reliable BB cream that gives a natural, even look without much effort. It is best suited to light coverage days where convenience and a fresh finish matter more than full coverage or long wear perfection.

Absolutely love this product! I Think i’ve been living under a rock, I’m 49 & only just found this product for the first time. After doing days of research, this came out top & value for money! I have got to this age without wearing any foundation. I do not like anything heavy on my face, so this product is perfect! The skin tone colour is a perfect match to mine, it’s light on the skin, smooth texture, it’s blends beautifully and glides on the skin like silk, i tried it for the first time & instantly ordered a second one! It has a built in moisturiser & covers my new lines perfectly! Highly recommend!

Soothes skin and reduces appearance of large pores. Gives excellent sun protection, stays out all day and then is easily removed with facial wipes/ cleanser. Looks very natural.

Best I’ve found for a long time. Doesn’t cake or bulk . Feels effortless to apply . Good coverage I bought the medium but it’s very dark. The fair is more me even with a medium tone. I mix it up sometimes to add a bit of colour though . It lasts long time and covers my spider veins with it concealer

No complaints on that! The product absorbs into the skin well and with ease. The light coverage is what i need and like.

tried this after looking to replace my other concealer and the coverage is decent, you seem to get quite a good product for your money but the colour was way too yellow. I looked like I had jaundice even when I tried to thin out the coverage.

I have been using Garnier Oily light BB cream for a few years now and am disappointed that the formula has recently changed and marketed as new and improved. I found the consistency of the old formula was very similar to Clinique’s anti-aging foundation and had very good coverage. Additionally, for someone with oily skin this cream helped reduce shine. Since the formula has changed, in my opinion the cream is thicker and coverage does not have the same light matt finish. The light tone is also slightly darker, which is equally disappointing. Overall, I prefer the previous version and if anyone can recommend a similar replacement to the original BB cream I would be extremely grateful. Updated: Since my last review the formula for this cream has changed. The colour for the light tone is now lighter and the consistency is less dense providing a much smoother coverage. Whilst I still do not believe this is as good as the original version, I do believe this is still the best BB cream on the market for this price and perfect for every day use.
