Gents Military Titanium Watch RG877CX9 (Formally RXD425L8)

Great little watch. All as described. Well made in titanium with a Seiko movement and screw down back. No niggles except fabric bands fray in time. Just take care doing them up. Second hand is spot on. Worth the money.

Very pleased with the item. I wanted a robust and easily read watch to wear whilst working in the garden or doing DIY as I didn’t want to risk damage to a cherished vintage watch. The Lorus is robust light and stylish without being too macho or complicated. Very pleased with it.

Great watch looks good on my hand .

I have small wrists so I struggle to find watches that are comfortable and a good fit. This is both. It looks very stylish with it's simple design and materials, is lightweight, and is not massive on the wrist. Can't comment on how good it is for waterproofness because that's not why I bought it, but I can wear it playing golf, which is one of the main reasons I bought it. (My other watch, an automatic, doesn't like golf, the shock upsets the accuracy of the watch, causing it to lose time). This has become my everyday watch. Really pleased with it, and delivery was very fast too.

Delivered item has different part number - rg983 and I failed to find it on official website. The hands cannot be seen in deem light, and the lume doesn't help much. The manufacturer has changed the hand contour color to something shiny-silver which is almost indistinguishable on the creamy-green background. Its a shame, it cannot be compared to the original high-contrast black-shaped hands. So be careful, visibility is a weak point. But the lume works quite well in full darkness and build quality is good.

Unfortunately, the watch stopped working after approximately three months of use. I replaced the battery, but as shown in the attached video, the second hand just vibrates back and forth without moving properly. I'm very disappointed, as the watch is lightweight and comfortable to wear. It's a shame because I really liked it, but I expected it to last much longer. Based on my experience, the quality control of this Lorus watch does not seem to be very good, as a watch should not develop this kind of fault after such a short period of normal use.

Simple and good watch, durable I am not afraid to use it outdors and working physical work.
