Exactly what I was looking for!
This is the kind of soap my teen and I were looking for. We wanted a classic "old fashioned" type of soap that makes you feel super clean. It has a medicinal clean scent that we love.

Weird chemical smell
Weird chemical/gas smell straight out of the box. This smell does not fade and lingers on your skin. Major issue. Returning product.

Deceptive Labeling
Deceptive Labeling. The Carbolic Soap label is deceptive as the ingredient list does not include carbolic acid, as implied. It does list Cresylic acid, which is also a disinfectant. Even though the fine print does include this - Disclaimer: 'While we work to ensure that product information is correct, on occasion manufacturers may alter their ingredient lists. Actual product packaging and materials may contain more and/or different information than that shown on our Web site', the byer would still assume this is a Carbolic soap as stated in the label.
