do they have a liner?

Sorry no liner I have the black ones fit is awesome. I have some other brand cost almost three times what these shorts cost no liner fit is the same.

The size chart shown in one of the product pics is confusing: what's the difference between "Waist" and "Your waist"?

Waist means shorts' waist, your waist means fitted waist of yours.

What's the inseam length for size M?

I bought size L and inseam is 3.5 inches. That is almost the size you will get in most gym shorts. If you need longer inseam look for basketball shorts.

Will the fit tight? I have a 27in waist.

I have a 30" waist, weigh 140, and 5'-10" tall. I bought Medium and they fit perfectly snug. No bunching from being too tight.
