Test kit says you have 24k testing acid but i dont see it

The kit came with 22 k then platinum

where is this product from?

It was sent from GTE Testing equipment and Supplies. It's in Chambersburg, PA.

Does this work on raw stone?

it is for gold and platinum. There is too much debris in a raw stone, if you mean a stone you think may contain gold. Plus the "grinding block" is too fine and would be destroyed if you used basalt etc on int.

So there is only one silver solution. How can I tell if I have sterling (.925) or fine (.999) silver....???

Where does the question arise? Silver is marked in most countries and the silver marks certifying the fineness are published on various websites. In France different marks identify the silver content as .800 or .925. In the US we only have .925 parts silver. I the UK, they have .925 and one finer, called Britannia and have a Britannia mark. I get such answers online by specifying the country and the mark. If you have no marks, there are silver tests you can purchase on Amazon, for example, and follow the directions. Or you can assume the item is not silver because unless you test it yourself,or have someone do it for you, no one will believe it is silver. I will not believe it is silver for sure!

Gold tests work great, silver not so much

The gold tests work as they should which is great! Unfortunately it seems as though the silver one doesn't. When I tried, the color of the solution turned a yellow color on things I knew were sterling silver. I still think it's a great product for being reasonably priced.

This product is dangerous, defective and doesn't work.

This was absolutely the worst product ever. The 14kt smoked poison when I tried to pour it. The 10 Karat considered everything gold. I used my scissor from dollartree, tried them on the scratch board, tested positive. Really? Pure crap!!
