Day 1 and its pretty freakin' awesome!
I don't even have the dash back on the car and I love this thing! I have a lot more wires to run for two cameras, subwoofer, brake light circuits, etc, but I had to hook up power and speakers and see how this thing sounded. It sounds GREAT! Cranked up all 4 speakers to 40 (100%) and the volume was LOUD with no over modulation distortion. Without ANY EQ it sounds GREAT. Setting up CarPlay took about a minute. Another minute to set the time and date. BT figured itself out. The internal mic works great for making phone calls and receiving/hearing calls sounds wonderful. The previous radio was a 2002 cassette/CD player with a 25 character display, so this is a BIG technology jump!! SUPER pleased day 1 and I haven't even used it past the driveway..... More to come.

Great value for money!
This is a nice upgrade.+ it has a volume knob (hurray!), and physical buttons for FF, RW, and Home+ built-in RCA connections for an amp rather than another wiring harness to lose+ no branding on the front for a cleaner look+ wireless carplay starts automatically+ includes a wired mic and back-up camera+ looks clean in the dash with a Metra mounting bracket.Other items to be aware of:- The wiring comes terminated with "bullet" type butt-splices. I recommend using them since stripping 20 AWG wire is fiddly.- The boot/splash screen is fixed unless you buy customization from the manf.- I get occasional music skips on Carplay. Annoying but not a deal breaker. (I suspect wifi interference, not sure yet.)- Mounting holes didn't line up with the plastic Metra bracket. (Drilled new holes in plastic, works fine.)Overall, good product. Recommended.

Wireless? 10 minutes
Installed in an '09 Mercury Mariner (escape).Note the below issues occurred with both an iPhone 8 and brand new iPhone 13, so it's not the phone.-MAIN ISSUE: Wireless Carplay is both a pain to setup and is unreliable.- It's either a wifi or Bluetooth (BT) issue as it won't connect reliably unless I re-enter a 'passkey' every so often.-IT LOSES CONNECTION to wireless Carplay after about 10 minutes...just stops working. A few times the stereo turned off/locked up. I restarted it and reconnected and it would die after another 10 mins. *-WIRED CARPLAY does work and does not lose connection, but doesn't automatically start playing on Carplay (Pandora, for example) after turning off the car and restarting. It shows that it's playing on the screen but no sound comes out 'til I cycle to another source - radio, etc. - and then back, or change the Pandora station and then return to the one I was on originally. BUT I've had this issue on the Pioneer and Sony mentioned above, too.-Side mounting holes didn't line up with the separate Metra Dash Kit I bought - the previous stereo (that died after 1 week) fit fine, so blaming this stereo for not using 'standard' location mounting holes. I had to drill new holes in the Metra kit's bracket to work.-Slow(er) to start-up - compared to my aftermarket Pioneer and Sony Carplay stereos in two other cars.-Bluetooth only seems to work if I DISconnect my iPhone from the wifi connection on the stereo. Not sure why they're connected (pun intended).*What's good:- WIRED Carplay does mostly work.-Bluetooth works.*-Screen's touch sensitivity (haptics) is acceptable.-Sound quality is very good. Even with the Mariner's stock speakers, but I'm no Audiophile.-Front MIC works fine for the few calls I've made and 'hands-free' texts I've sent thru it.-Support: I've been impressed with the company's tech support. Thom wilson <wilsonlin957 at g-male> has been responsive and helpful to some general usage questions. Although he blames a poor antenna reception for the Wireless Carplay issue...if that's true, why doesn't *Bluetooth also die after ~10 minutes???? I also upgraded the firmware via Thom's link and it didn't fix anything but @ least it was readily available.-Edit: Rear View camera install:- I mounted it above the license place, but off-center to avoid the rear hatch release button. Drilled a hole about middle of the license plate area to run the power and reverse signal wires. Used a rubber grommet and RTV to seal it.-The wiring that came with the cam was barely long enough to reach the front where it connects to the HU. And I had to extend the wiring that powers the camera from the reverse light. I tapped the wiring harness on the INside of the cabin, behind the pass. side rear access panel. The Green was the 12v and Black was the Ground for the reverse light that I'd found on another site/YT video.Ran it up thru the body and out the body's rubber grommet, but didn't want to mess with fishing it thru the actual hatch so it's 'exposed' on the inside of the the hatch covered by black duct tape, before it's covered by the rear hatch's cover.-Ran the long wire cable up the passenger side w/out much grief, behind the smallish glovebox (but easy to remove), to the back of the HU. Tapped the 'Back' (aka Reverse) signal wire and plugged in the RCA plug for the camera.-Works fine and hasn't died yet after 4 months.

Only connects to phone Occasionally
Sometimes getting into vehicle, it connects to CarPlay right away without issues. Most of the time, it won't connect or connect properly. When checking the Bluetooth and phone - both will read connected, but it isn't connected or if it is, CarPlay doesn't work. Tried with an Android phone and it is the same problem. That indicates that it is the stereo. Other car has a Kentwood touchscreen and no such issues. So, this stereo doesn't work properly.

Malfunctions every time I try to use
I thought I loved this product at first but it started malfunctioning very soon after the thirty day refund policy was up. Every time I'm trying to use voice to be texting it will not register my voice. this is a huge problem for me as this was one of the main reasons I purchased. Would love to recommend this product but sadly with this not working and me not being able to switch it out for a working one I cannot.

Great people to work with!!!!
I will start off by saying that I really like this product. I didn't want to spend a whole lot of money putting a high end name brand in a Jeep, so I thought I would give Ousmin a try. I really like the wireless carplay and the touchscreen. Looks very professional. I did have an issue with my unit right after installing it and Ousmin worked with me and had me try a few things and then decided to replace my unit. The new unit came, all updated and working fine. For sound quality,, I can't say if that is my speakers or the unit, so I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. I would definitely buy from Ousmin again.
