I live on the forth floor. Will this bike bother the people who live below me?

One of the reasons I bought this bike was because it would be quiet with the magnetic movement rather than a fly wheel. I was pleasantly surprised when it came that not only is it silent when you peddle but the frame is solid and there are no creaks or squeaks. It also is quiet when you move it and open and close it. I use this mainly when my household is asleep and live in a 100 year old house with old wood floors. No one ever notices. I think that's about as good as it gets.

Is this a recumbent or upright? Says upright but looks recumbent.

This is both. You can easily lean forward and ride in "regular" bike position, or sit back and ride in recumbent position. I like to ride in regular more and then lean back for a break. I do not find it a strain to ride in either position, as I've seen noted in other answers to this question. It might be a matter of setting the adjustments for the seat and rack.

Is this good for someone who is 5'9"?

I wish I read past the first response before buying this, build quality is good, but I am 6’1” and this is FAR too small for me, I had to review the instructions and amazon description to make sure I hadn’t accidentally bought a children’s model. 6’ isn’t so tall that it is unreasonable to expect a stationary bike to be usable. (Unless the description says it is a small version.)

About how long does it take to assemble and can it be done by one person?

It doesn't take long at all. I assembled mine in about half an hour. As someone without muscle tone, I didn't have an issue assembling it by myself or moving it.

Poor quality

Had it for just over a month, bike was great at first but after the 2/3rd use bikes quality went down. And now the return window has gone so unable to get my money back. Not great at all.
