This fan has been in use to heat rooms with an oil filled radiator. I place the fan on the floor and only use the lowest setting for two reasons: 1) it pushes enough air that I don't need to use the higher settings much, and 2) it is not quiet at higher settings. To call this ultra-quiet is like calling a BMW motorcycle ultra-quiet. Yes, it is less loud than a v-twin motorcycle, but you're still going to hear it. Regardless, being able to remove the front panel to clean the dust away and the fact that I have used this daily in colder months while placed on the floor for three years has to say something for it. The higher settings produce enough of a breeze that you could place this in a window to bring in fresh air, so more than just a 'personal' fan. I don't often write reviews, but this product was worth the time to do so.

I've had this now for about 6-ish months, and used it for about 6- 10 hours e.v.e.r.y. single day. It's been amazing. I've never smelled anything burning, it still sounds quiet but solid and blows equally as well as when it was brand new. I have it set up close to me, and have only used level 1 (of 3) because it's been so effective at cooling at that speed. Cannot recommend more. This is the one you're looking for, plus it looks great!

This is the best USB fan we have had to date. It's much quieter than my old one. In fact, sometimes I forget and leave it on without realizing it. It's a great size and really moves the air on each speed. The 90 degree adjustment works really well. We have not regretted buying this fan. Since we liked it so much, we also bought one for my husband to use at his computer as well.

If you run hot and need a stronger fan to help at your desk, this is the one for you. This fan provides amazing airflow with its 6 inch blades which are much larger than other desktop fans. The build quality is great on the sturdy metal stand but the fan itself is made of a somewhat flimsy plastic. The single button on the back is easy to use and the multiple speed settings are helpful for different situations. I tried the Vornado Desk fan and ended up returning it and picking this fan instead!

Good for my needs. Moves air decent enough. On low/mid speeds the noise is ok. At highest speed it's a bit noisy. Still though, moves air pretty well and good for all-around use.

Holy smokes! This fan is fan-tastic! It has a super-wind feature (long-press the power button) that blows all other USB-powered fans out of the water. This is the fan to buy if you want plenty of speed options without compromising on style, functionality, and ease of use.

Pros: * Size: Very small and compact * Efficient: It's DC, 5 volts. For systems that are DV (like a car), it's efficient to run off your car's 12v using a cigarette lighter adapter. Similarly, you could run this off solar, a USB power-bank, or even some phone models. Based on my testing with a USB tester, it uses roughly on low 1.25-watts, medium 2.5 watts, high 4.5 watts, turbo 5.8 watts. (compare that to Honeywell @ 24watts) The reading fluctuates up and down, but that's about the average. * Air Movement: Moves LOTS of air, and moves it forward in a linear way. By contrast, I have a Honeywell fan, that's much bigger, moves less air, uses more energy, and the moving air spreads out. * Noise: It's quiet (relative to air moved) and produces a smooth white noise. * Price: At $18 (current price), it's not "cheap" (or expensive). What matters is value-per-dollar. Cons: * It wasn't free? (That's a joke, if it wasn't obvious). Wish List * Some mounting-holes would be nice. I've added a few of my own, and even a counter-sink magnet on the base one fan. Contrast: By contrast, lets compare this to my 9-inch Honeywell fan. * Energy - My Honeywell fan uses 24-watts on high. This fan uses 4.5 on high and 5.8 watts on turbo. My Vornado cloth-fan uses 19watts on high (and moves little air) * Size - The size of the fan is so much smaller. It's not simply "9 inch vs 6 inch", the fan takes up so much less space. * Air - This fan on high, moves a little more air than the Honeywell on high. On turbo, it easily beats the Honeywell. This fan is great for practically everything, but I'm imagining this is perfect for any RV, semi-truck, or camper van. Even when camping, this runs easily off of various little power-banks I have sitting around.

Super quiet (which I needed as I used it whilst in work calls), and outputs plenty of air. Would prefer a USB-C version but not a huge problem. Would highly recommend.

Very useful fan esp. during long power cuts. Air throw is adequate at full speed but I believe it could be better. Quality is good and the USB power cord is long enough. I have other Chinese usb fans with much better speed but as always their batteries are crap and they don't last long. So ultimately I have to connect them to a power bank. With no in built battery it requires to be plugged in to a USB power source (2A for more speed). A little bulky for travelling or camping since one has to carry a power bank and it doesn't have any clip or hook to mount it on the car dashboard or hang it on the tent roof. Only good to keep on a flat surface like desk or table. Price is also a bit high. I believe it can be bargained for much cheaper price in offline markets. I bought this since I don't get such things where I live. Nonetheless a very useful item to have at home.

Great but shame about the visible brand name. The advert has blank space in centre, where the supplier has brand name.

Si me gustó. Al comprarlo pensé que todo era de metal, pero no, solo la base es metálica. Lo demás es plástico, se ve duradero pero me gustaría que fuera en todo caso un poco más rígido. Me gustó que se puede poner totalmente viendo hacia arriba, de ese modo coloqué un disco externo sobre él fijándolo con un sujeta cables. De ese modo le doy ventilación asistida a mi disco duro evitando el overheating. Tiene un botón con 3 niveles de potencia, y vaya que si es potente en el último. En mi caso lo conecté a un Hub para no perder el puerto de la PC, y jala bien.

Avevo un ventilatore usb senza batteria da tavolino che si è rotto, ho comprato questo dubbioso perchè nonostante il diametro fosse uno dei piu grandi della categoria era comunque inferiore al precedente, che tra l'altro era in ferro. invece mi sono dovuto ricredere, elegante silenzioso e potente, forse anche piu del precedente. ora bisogna vedere solo quanto durerà, l'altro è durato piu di 10 anni.. consigliatissimo.
