Would this be too young/little for my kindergartener?

It would be perfect for a kindergartener. I bought it for my grandkids who are 2 and almost 4 years old and they love to use it. Even though this comes with letters and numbers, I bought some additional magnetic numbers and letters separately, as the letters that come with this board are larger and that leaves little space to spell words. The additional set I bought is the “First Classroom” magnetic letters and numbers because they’re only 1” in size, rather than the larger ones that came with the set. Definitely buy it for a 5 year old.👍

What are the dimensions of the chalkboard?

The chalkboard on the back is the same size as the dry erase board on the other side…….about 18x24……you’ll need to wash it every time it’s used because it’s not the best quality chalkboard, the board tips over and folds up on itself easily, so I wouldn’t buy it again…… BUT…… magnets on the other hand work very well on the dry erase board, so that’s how we use it with our 3 year old Grandson. We use ABC magnet sets and animal magnets…… THAT makes it worthwhile.
