Smells great, lathers richly, leaves hair and scalp super clean. Gives good volume and leaves hair soft.

I almost sent this back because the scent was overpowering when I opened the package. You still smell it as soon as you walk into our bathroom. It's not horrible, but it's not sandalwood either. It doesn't leave your hair with a strong smell, and it seems to work just fine. I like that it is puck shaped, since that's the shape of my travel holder for shampoo. Most on the market have gone to other shapes. I like it OK but I'm not sure I'll buy it again. If I do, I'll see if they have unscented.

This is excellent shampoo and I feel good about reducing the amount of plastic that I am adding to the environment by using products that do not require plastic packaging.

Smells good and gives great lather which is a big deal for wavers.

It has been a journey tell you what. This is the bar I've finally chosen after 2 years on and off testing more than 6 bars. The shampoo foams nicely and gets your hair quite clean. It's not the most gentle for color treated hair but on par with most other bars I've tried. No waxy residue or oil after use. Truly scent free. Bar lasts a long time as you don't need much each use. I have individually fine hair but a lot of it in a curly mass. Highly bleached then rainbow colored with Manic Panic. I do a 50% apple cider rinse for dry scalp after shampoo (I need this with many liquid shampoos too; Not necessary for residue from this bar). Honestly just glad to have a shampoo bar that works for me. Now on to plastic free fash wash!
