I've used almost everything and maybe 20 years ago, longer? I found a mini set of 4 various products. What do they do better than others? Everything. How about getting RED INK out of a brand new carpet? Yes, Motsenbocker's did that, maybe not this exact formulation but no matter, they are ALL EXCELLENT. The latex paint one works amazingly well too. I don't even consider other products now, I stick with these, I know they work as well as they claim and after the carpet debacle I think they work better than they claim. The carpet was less than a month old at the time of the incident, making me a permanently loyal fan of this company.

This product 'seems' to work fairly well, IF you reapply the remover several (3X) times on the same stains. Even then some of the stains remain, although yes, by then the stains are faint... You also have to REALLY scrub HARD to produce this result!!! In my experience the grease stains did not vanish entirely, and not on the first use...

Worked well, but the top was loose and leaked about 1/4 of the bottle.

I’ve used Motsenbocker’s products for stains & ink and adhesive removal for years. They never disappoint. The oil and grease remover works well on clothing as a laundry pre-treatment. Will order again when needed.

While trying to untangle a Halloween spider that was caught in my garage door, black grease got on the wool sweater I was wearing. I used this product and the grease completely disappeared! I soaked the sweater in water and a little dish soap to eliminate any remaining odor. Dried perfectly and no stains!!!

Yes it does life the oil/grease stains. My complaint is that the oily/citrus smell never left my clothes even after FIVE washings. It even left the washing machine with a slight odor in the other clothing that I processed through the washing machine afterwards, causing me to rewash things three times. Also the bottle I ordered was only about 3/4 full, not the full amount as advertised. Seriously it is a waste of money and costs you more in the long run with all the detergent and washings used to try and remove the scent left. You are better off using brake cleaner spray and dishsoap to remove the grease/oil stains. I do NOT recommend this product.

After using Resolve on an oil stain on new carpet and getting only reasonable results, I ordered Mostenbockers and removed all the stain even down to the base.
