Great product and highly recommend. Initially I was hesitant to install as the magnets seemed very strong, but I had an upper kitchen cabinet with two doors that due to settling (after 30 years) wouldn't close. Finally took the plunge and installed both within mere seconds. To align the door with the cupboard magnet I simply peeled off the back of facing magnet and installed on the cupboard magnet and then closed the door. The magnet aligned perfectly. Not too strong and very pleased.

Took a minute to install with the adhesive (I rent and can't be screwing things into the cupboards), had to put some tape on the magnet part as they were a little hard to open otherwise, they work perfectly and keep me from banging my head on cupboard doors that won't stay shut.

The magnet works great at keeping my cats out of a wardrobe I have. My only complaint is sometimes they don’t want to stick well and I have to restick them which may just be because of the finish on the wardrobe and the force of constantly opening it. Other than that they’re very strong and do exactly what I want them to do.

I bought these to use in the refurbishment of an antique kitchen Hoosier cabinet. I wasn’t worried about restoring it to perfection as it will be used in a cottage. There were no clasps for the doors and these work great! The adhesive is very strong so be careful in placing them as you cannot readjust them once they are even slightly stuck on the surface. Wish they came with more than 2 extra adhesive strips as I completely screwed up placing the first one!

I bought these magnets for my lower cabinet doors. It was easy to pull the cover off of the adhesive strip, and attach both parts of the magnet to the inside of the cabinet doors. I left the doors undisturb for one day and one night and they seem to work fine for a couple of days. On different occasions, the metal strip that the magnetic part sticks to was stuck directly to the magnet and not the door. The adhesive came off on three of the metal strips on different doors. I super glued them back on, and after they were set the little foam padding between the original adhesive and the metal strip tore apart, and metal strip again stuck to the magnets. This happened on all three cabinet doors. Again, super glued the pieces to the doors, and after my third attempt of gluing, they appear to be secure now. The pros are the magnets are very strong. The cons are the adhesive and foam padding are not.

these are perfect. easy to install and stay put. if the magnets are a little too strong, just put some scotch tape over the plate. i use 4 layers of scotch tape over it, and it is perfect. easy to open, and closes nicely. i bought these again.

In terms of installation, I found the process to be more complicated than anticipated. The provided instructions were unclear, and the catches themselves were difficult to position correctly. This led to multiple attempts at installation, wasting both time and resources. Overall, I cannot recommend the Cabinet Magnetic Catch Adhesive Jiayi 4 Pack Magnetic Door Catch to fellow consumers. Its poor adhesive quality, weak magnets, and lackluster durability make it a regrettable purchase. Save yourself the hassle and invest in a more reliable alternative for your cabinet door needs.
