Can this be used with a dimmer?

Yes... That is our experience. We are using them in 8 new post light lanterns around our pool deck. We are using 2 new rocker style dimmers for them. They are not LED bulbs, but the new dimmers are compatible with all types of bulbs. They are truly lovely with their "gas light looking glow".

What is the warranty for these bulbs? Just curious since a lot of reviews are claiming some go bad in a few months.

When you consider that they are vintage, that is for effect of an old-style look, they are going to be vulnerable to old-time problems. I know of no light bulbs that come with a warranty

is this available in cool white?

I'm not sure I only got what they had about a year ago. See about asking the company. But either way, you will enjoy it.

The drawing shows the diameter to be 3.75" and the description says 3.58" - which one is it?

The roundness or circumference of the bulb is 3.75. The length of the bulb from socket area to top of globe is 3.58.
