This did not fit snugly in my home theater system. Also there were some issues with the connectivity drop a couple of times.

Works perfectly, great quality, and saved my laptop!
Well, there are the obvious things that are good about this cable: --Looks Great --Works Perfectly --Sturdy miniToslink Connector What I didn't expect was that it would save me from my own stupidity. One day, I set my laptop on top of a small basket, since it was convenient. Next thing, cat walks by, brushes against it, and BAM - over goes the laptop, landing squarely on the headphone jack in an almost Olympian effort to bust something inside my computer. I walk over, expecting disaster - instead, the cord has snapped cleanly, with about 3mm of it sticking out the side of my computer. They made the minitoslink tip/head with a sort of fat base, slipped the fibre channel up into the connector tip, then formed the connector shroud around the base of the connector tip - perfect design, kudos! It lets the cable be built strong, but not so strong as to break the computer; and yet allows the miniToslink tip to be sturdy enough that you don't end up with it trapped inside the port. The shroud is of course cracked (I mean, it had a laptop lever itself about it), but was even able to slip the miniToslink tip back onto the bare fibre cable and loosley fit it back onto the shroud - obviously falls apart easily, but is a workable temporary fix until a new one arrives.

Great quality and price
I needed a bit longer Toslink cable for my home system to add options for sound connections to the recently purchased TV from LG. Item arrived fast, well packaged with protectors for the connectors. Works just fine and will remain connected for a long time, so I'm not expecting any problems in the future.

Works great
I was a little bit skeptical on a 35' optical wire when I read in a few places that the max recommended length was 15' or something. I'm pleased to say that this wire is performing flawlessly. I am also impressed with the quality of the materials. It was also nice that it came in a 35' length which was perfect for my needs (glad I didn't have to buy a 50'). Thanks, Monoprice!
