Ground very fine. I've only used it in my espresso machine. Have never tried just mixing it in hot water. Sorry!

Preferably for the Company: Instead of wasting the grounds, can i toss them in my Nutribullet & make a protein shake for later ?

The “grounds” of spent Rooibos tea is simply a fermented, dry leaf. The leaves may not grind. If you don’t mind a bit of chewy bits in your shake, they won’t be harmful; it’s just fiber as such.

Do capsules work in a Nespresso Virtuoso?

This specific product listing is actually for the Ground Red Espresso, it comes in powder form and can be prepared just as you would make your coffee in any traditional coffee maker, whether it is a Drip Coffee-maker, French Press, Italian Moka, Aeropress or a professional Espresso Machine. We do also offer Red Espresso Nespresso capsules but unfortunately our capsules are not compatible with the Virtuo machine. Alternatively, we also carry a wonderful Instant Red Cappuccino Mix - all you need to do is add water and you get a rich and creamy rooibos cappuccino. You don't need any tools or machines.
