My cat loves this. We've only taken short excursions to the backyard and around the block so far, as it's too hot out to risk her getting overheated, though the ventilation from the holes in the front and mesh on the sides will most likely be good enough once the temperature gets back down around 80 degrees. The plastic wrap is a bit challenging to remove, but not impossible. I didn't have any trouble getting the bubble or bottom cushion installed.After I take my kitty out to explore the world and return inside, she's back in the backpack asking for more in about 10 minutes. This is perfect for a cat like mine that wants to be outside but is afraid to go out the front door.The backpack seems well made. I expect it to last quite a while.

The back is soft, unlike what I initially thought, this means that the cat will be uncomfortably pressed up against my back if I bend or even have a slight inclination. Came a bit banged up but otherwise good and not missing or without any pieces.

There was a crack on the ring where the bubble goes as well as a small scratches on the bubble. I needed it by Christmas for my kids and there eas not enough time to exchange it.
