I purchased these rails for my desk drawer. For some reason one side of the file drawer on my desk at work didn't have this little rail on it. This fit perfectly over the side of the drawer and just needed to be cut to the correct length. Price was great and I have 3 extras that may never be used. I love it when I get something off Amazon and its exactly what I needed.

I bought a file cabinet from Wayfair and it did not come with the hardware. They were not able to send the hardware either. I found these on amazon and they fit perfectly! Thank you!

These are just what they say. They are made to fit over 1/2" drawer sides. Unfortunately, the plywood sides of my file drawers are actually 7/16" thick which is typical for what is called 1/2" plywood. They will work for me until I find something better.

These file drawer rails can NOT be used on a 1/2" wide drawer side. Unfortunately, I had cut them down in length hoping I could cram them on the side of the drawer and they just did not fit. Your drawer sides should be no more than 3/8" to ensure that these fit. Total waste of money.

When I needed to downsize from a large hanging file drawer to my old Costco oak file drawer, I searched for a way to convert it to hang files. This appeared to be the only way I could find that would work. The wooden sides of the drawers were not thick enough, so I cut cardboard strips and glued them inside the plastic rails. A bit of work but, voila, now I can hang my folders instead of letting them fall over in a heap. :)
