L’Oréal Paris L'Oreal Hair Color Colorista 1-Day Spray, Hotpink, 2 Ounce

I liked this product and it works very well. I give 4 stars as it stays longer on my hair than promised. It took me more than 5 washes with shampoo to remove the color from my blond hair.

Works great, vibrant color, it does rub off onto anything that is touched (seat, hands, face, clothes, etc. ) but that’s kinda expected as it’s a hair spray. It did take 173826 washes (really only about 8 or 9 shampoo, rinse, and repeat) but my daughter’s hair is very long! We put a towel over the seat in the car and in the photo you can see her fingers are stained from moving her hair out of the way but it washed off her skin after about 3 baths (3 days) (didn’t scrub scrub, didn’t want to irritate skin) but it did NOT stain our white bathtub! We kept spraying the tub to not let it sit and have a chance to stain tho. Overall very happy with this purchase and it worked great! The pink was the perfect color for my Lava Girl! She didn’t want to wash it out!

When my supervisors declared we were going to have Superhero/Supervillain day at work, there was clearly only one thing for me to do: Pull out my purple suit and become the Clown Prince of Quarantine. The only problem was that I didn't have my fav. green hairspray for the look and couldn't get any on short notice. Nothing else looked up to the task so finally, with admitted reservations, I got a can of this thinking that if it didn't work, oh well. It's what the supervisors got for only giving me a week's notice. My biggest trepidation was coverage, followed by colour. Mint isn't exactly a 'Joker' green, after all, and since this was for 'hints and highlights' I didn't expect it to show on my dark brown hair at all. Things started looking up when the can arrived and the back showed examples of it sprayed on blonde hair (mint) and brown hair (a nice, emerald-ish green). It looked like my dark hair would play in my favor for once! The next test was to apply it. Normally I apply my hairspray in the shower because it gets everywhere. Absolutely everywhere. After a couple of sprays, though, I became concerned about wastage given the small quantity, so I decided to see just how good the applicator tip was a try doing it in front of the mirror. Worked like a charm! Seriously, there was no over spray at all! And the colour was perfect and while it took the full can, the coverage was all I could ask for! (picture above) So yes, while I wouldn't recommend it if you want super opaque coverage on long hair, 'cause you'll need a ton, for small jobs it works like a charm and I'd imagine that for it's intended use of Hints and Highlights it would do quite well.

This is a very good product, offering good coverage and colour even on verry dark hair. To use, wash and style your hair as you want it, then use this spray to finish your look and add colour to your hair. Cover your shoulders with a large towel and apply the spray from about 15 cm ( 6-7 in.) from your hair. It's good to have someone help do the back of your head if you want. It dries fast, holds the colour perfectly, and is non-transferring if you brush against clothing, etc. When you shampoo your hair to remove it, you will notice that the spray is pretty tenacious and doesn't want to release very easily. Simply start your shower or shampoo with conditioner First, rinse that out, shampoo, rinse, condition, rinse and repeat until the water runs clear. I found this is the easiest way to remove it efficiently so your hair is nice and clean and no sticky residue is left behind. An excellent product that works amazingly well. I'm very pleased with my purchase

This stuff is great for what it is. Temporary color. It sprays on and the silver is really silver. I have blonde/light brown hair with silver running through it. I want more silver but not up to spending big bucks for permant color and possibly destroying my hair. This does the trick with no worries. Couple of suggestions. Use towel on shoulders. Also some tissue around neck if your hair is short. Do all your hair styling before doing face make up. You will have to use a washcloth to wipe any spray on forehead and face. Comes off easily. It is worth it because the color is great. Sparkles. After done spraying do a bit of styling and use spray or whatever to finish you hair. This stuff is not for anyone who keeps running her fingers through her hair....you will end up with silver on hands. No worries though because soap and water removes it. Just kinda funky to have silver finger tips, so once done leave it alone! For the price and least hassle this is the bomb! Highly recommend. Oh, one other thing. It takes a lot of this stuff to do a short hair style if you want a lot of color. Do it outside or in very well ventilated area. Basically like spray paint so consider if you want to have silver dusted floors and counters. It is a lot of fun to use. Price makes it all the better.

1 am 64 and stopped dying my hair 10 years ago. Bought it for fun...made my hair nice and shiny and the colour was very supple. washed out on first shampoo.
