So heat finally broke the back roof window cover clasp on the 2013 Audi Q7. Replaced with this, worked on first try! Hard to get the screwes in, the hood will keep sliding back while you are trying to unscrew and rescrew with the supplied 90 deg torx wrench. Highly suggest leaving the screwes if you can, and just replacing the part, vs using the included screws. Once they are out, they are easy to loose in the hood plastic, and there is no easy way to screw them in. Get one started with the supplied tool, then get the other started while having something to prop open or tape open the hood to keep from sliding back. Once they are started, its easy to complete the tightening. Worked first try! Outstanding, would buy again from this seller.

Perfect fit and good quality

I'm so glad I found this product. Audi was going to charge me ~$1000 to change this part because of the labor to take apart the entire assembly and replace it with an OEM part. 1 star off because the base doesn't fit perfectly snug in the existing slot; there's a slight gap between the handle and the opening. I resolved this myself by taking out the the center component (the button that you press) out of handle's housing to replace the original handle. Also the color doesn't match perfectly, but it's close enough.

Such a great price for a part to replace an Audi piece that is known to fail...... often. Couldn't tell if mine was the light grey / light tan when I was ordering, and got the grey. Matches just about as well as the light tan one did. (I think Audi put in the wrong part maybe??). Anyway, except for needing really small hands, or being double-jointed, it was a simple part change. Helpful hint as others say - open the rear sunroof. I used a small torx bit without any wrench or driver attached to get the screws started with just my fingers, then used their allen wrench style tool to finish tightening it. A small extra flexible gymnast would have an easier time with install than a larger, older, less flexible person.

Fit perfect with no problem

I used this product on me 2015 Audi Q7. It was installed on the rear sunroof shade that was broken from the heat of the sun. This product was an exact replacement. It came with a tool to help replace the old handle and install the new locking handle.

Fits perfectly for the 2008 Audi Q7 install was a breeze it Evan came with replacement screws and an Alan key for it which made it super easy. It is also a fraction of the cost from what you would pay for an OEM product from Audi though it feels and looks exactly the same as though Audi one
