The journal companion to the book "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck" is, without a doubt, the best companion journal on the market. It is not simply a side-by-side companion but can be utilized on its own to build a solid understanding of the reader's values, goals, behaviors, and dreams of the future. While this can be challenging, it is easy enough to get you engaged into the material and making headway into understanding yourself and your self-imposed barriers to a satisfying life. All it takes is a pen and effort!

With the exception of the title, which I found unnecessarily rude, this is an exceptionally well written and supportive journal to truly examine relationships, family, yourself, conflict resolution, prioritizing and mental well being. I understand the purpose of the title; it is very to the point on what is important. However, many middle age to older people won't be able to get past the title to the deep healing and growth of this book. I didn't want my grandchildren seeing the title so I taped over it.....but absolutely loved the format and content! Would have been a 5 star but I just couldn't get around the title.....but have no better suggestion for how to encompass the entirety of the goals to be achieved with in!

Got this for my 20 something daughter that pointed it out to me while she was surfing internet one day. Magically, it was sitting on her pillow the next time she came to visit. Have gotten quite a few texts since she's had it about how much she enjoys it. I'm not into journaling. But she likes the various prompts the book has. She says a lot of journals take themselves very seriously. This one does not, as one may guess from the name. She says it fits her personality of having a smart-a and sarcastic streak and makes writing a lot easier. Hope this review helps in your shopping decision making.
