Great lotion! I have tried SOOOO many lotions and am always trying to find new favorites. I am a HUGE fan of lotions that absorb quickly without leaving my skin feeling greasy in addition to smelling good while having the ability to minimize the after tan odor as much as possible. This lotion did a pretty good job! The smell is pleasant (hard to explain, but not super fruity- thank god). I really like perfumey/soapy smelling lotions (basically, the complete opposite of the Snooki scents- although, her lotions do make you feel SO soft) and although this isn't really perfumey, it's still pleasant. I didn't notice any after tan odor at all, actually. However, the next day (I have my own bed, so I tan at night after I shower) I did notice a slight sunless tanner scent, but it wasn't horrible and wasn't something that would have kept me from wanting to use this lotion again. I haven't tanned in a LONNG time, so I am super pale and need to get a good tan before heading to the beach next week- I noticed color from the first time using this and and trust me- I am sickly looking pale (please believe). I'm confident that this lotion will get me nice and dark in the short amount of time that I have. I honestly thought that I was so pale that I would have to order a bottle of the black bottle Smoke lotion (for those of you that don't know, that stuff is the most potent DHA tanning bed lotion that exists, I think lol) to get me ready for the beach.. I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of this lotion- especially for the price!. I would definitely buy this lotion again- My only suggestion/warning is to take the time to wipe off your hands and stuff because I did notice a little bit of "orange palm" and a slight tint on my cuticles- other than that, great product for a great price.

I love this stuff. Not only does it make me significantly darker after just one visit to the tanning bed (much more than any other indoor tanning product I’ve used), but it also works as a sunless tanner. I only go to the tanning bed before tropical or beach vacations to get a base tan so I don’t burn (because tanning beds are sooooo bad for you), so I had a lot of this left over. I used to use Jergens Natural Glow as my daily moisturizer; because it builds color gradually, it doesn’t leave streaks, etc. Well I ran out one day, so I used the Solid Black indoor stuff instead, and now I am a total convert! It works almost the same! I guess because it’s meant for indoor tanning, as a bronzer it isn’t as intense without the addition of the bed. Which is actually perfect, because, when used as a daily moisturizer after the shower, it builds gradually! But the result is quicker and darker than the Jergens. Whereas with other gradual tanners like Jergens or the sadly-now-discontinued Olay Touch of Sun, I had to use it *at least* a week (if not more like two) to see real results. It was worth it to me because it didn’t streak and it look natural. With this Solid Black, if I use it three days in a row, I’m definitely a good shade darker. And it’s a rich, glory brown—not orange at all. And not only that, but it smells so amazing, no weird starchy smell like pretty much every other tanning lotion. You get a *little* of that when you use it in a bed, but not any when you just use it as a daily lotion. If you’re going to use it as a daily lotion, try to leave it on overnight. I shower in the evening so it’s no problem for me to leave it on for 12+ hours. It won’t really work if you don’t avoid water or sweat for 8 hours. Definitely wash your pants right after, but otherwise, have had no problems with my palms or clothes getting stained. Not sure what those other reviewers are talking about. I really can’t recommend this product enough!

I am not impressed with this lotion. It stained my hands and several spots that didn’t get rubbed in good. I can’t get it off and I was thinking it was a light bronzer tanning lotion for tanning beds.

I chose this from the great reviews of others. Great lotion that I will be purchasing from now on. Just received the lotion in the mail opened and used it, now I'm a shade darker. I made sure to read the bottle since I read the bad reviews and it states on the back of the bottle To Use: Apply liberally prior to tanning. Which means you don't need much a little goes a long way. As long as you apply it evenly and rub it in till no more lotion is sitting on your skin just like every other lotion out on the market, you wont have streaks! Also, it states on the bottle to wash hands THOROUGHLY after applying! So you NEED to wash them PRIOR to getting in the TANNING BED! If you let it set on your skin for 6 or so hours after tanning,you can start to see slight orange but once you take your shower it goes away.Wonderful product which everyone should buy for the nice golden brown tan it gives you especially after one use. I have my own tanning bed been using all sorts of different lotions and this one works the best with the fastest results that I have ever used! _UP DATE_ I have now been using this for a little over a month. I only use this product once a week and another for the other two days. This is because when I used this every other day I started to notice that only on my palms was a small tint of orange/yellow. I scrub my palms right after applying every time and see the dark lotion going down the drain. I do let it stay on the rest of my skin for 6 hours or so afterwards not sure if that is why I'm getting those results from touching the rest of my body which still has lotion on, but the dies are definitely strong in it. After tanning I do smell a peculiar burnt smell(not sure what type of burnt)but it's strange. Besides the palm thing and get past stinking for a few hours I still enjoy the instant n lasting tan you get out of this lotion!
